ResortQuest Majestic Sun, Destin

I just got back from vacation today from the Majestic Sun with my family and it was absolutely amazing! I would highly recommend this resort to everyone! I just wish the pools had some fun things for kids such as water slides or something but they were great anyways. The construction however somewhat took away from the experience. They are building a parking strip along the boardwalk and at times it got pretty noisy in our condo. Another thing that kind of bothered us was that there was hardly ever a person working the front desk and we ended up having a few problems with electronic things in our condo and had to end up calling our main realty office to get something done.It wasnt a huge deal though. Another suggestion would be to plan our your dinners to travel into Destin or to cook in your condo. There arent many places on the main strip of the condos.We are already planning our next vacation to Destin/Miramar beach for this year and cant wait to go back:)

I have been a Fairfield/Wyndham Owner since 2000 and I must say that this was the absolute best vacation I have taken. The location was perfectly placed adjacent to the white sand of the Gulf, the staff was extremely helpful and there were lots of activities provided for my family. Not to mention all the golfing, shopping and dining just minutes away. If you are thinking about being an owner or just want a perfect getaway, Wyndham Majestic Sun is the place to be. Bravo to Crystal in the Concierge and Scott and brittnet at Guest Services. You guys were awesome!!!!!

I went there on spring break my senior year and a friend was staying there and I loved it so we are going there this summer!

Had to walk across busy hwy to get to beach, elevators never worked, pool closed at 10, staff was very unfriendly, pool was dirty, would not give deposit back even after cleaning for 2 hours before we left.

We loved everything.....the view outside the balcony window, the beach, the close restaurants---Pompano Joes especially. We also loved the condo...nicely decorated, clean, plenty of room,and washer/dryer in condo...a definite plus. We have stayed elsewhere over the past few years in Destin.....this was our first time at the Majestic. We will definitely be back next year! WOW!

Public beach in from of resort. Chair rental $40 a day, less than 10 ft from water, no room for family in front of chairs on beach. 2 umbrellas at pool location for entire location. No grills as advertised, $8 an hour for tennis which was supposed to be included. 4 carts to transport luggage in entire facility. At least it is clean..... I will look else where next year.

We stayed in the majestic sun for labor day weekend 2006. Great 2 bedroom on the A wing on the 5th floor for about $200/night. Great beach and nice accomodations. Our condo had a huge balcony with access fromt he master bedroom and living room (not all the condo's have this). The only thing we did not like is that the beach is across the street (Hwy 98). And when you seat in the balcony you hear all the traffic noise, instead of just hearing the ocean.

The Majestic Sun Beach Resort was nothing like what we have stayed at before! We loved it! The service was good! The cleanliness was Excellent! Our room looked like something a fashion designer had designed! It was the best and we cant wait to go back!!!!!!

big daddy, mama, and the children loved the majectic sun...the staff pleasant, the accomodations first rate, and the bedroom balcony view of the ocean breathtaking...we can't wait to return this june.....

I loved the friendly employee's. The beach was wonderful. My kid's loved the pool and i loved the spa. The rooms are so neat and you feel like your at home.And for all you families that like to golf, there is an amazing golf course. I would highly recomend the majestic sun resort for any fun willing family!!!
