Comfort Suites The Villages, Lady Lake

I found the room to be clean & comfortable. The room came with a small refrigerator & microwave which was nice for a 3 night stay. The TV was still a tube type (had plenty of channel choices though!) and was not equipped with wi- fi but did have an ethernet connection. The breakfast was decent. Overall, it was a comfortable stay.

Very very dirty. After checking in I noticed that the rugs and elevator were very dirty. When I entered my room I noticed a dirty bathroom with hairs all over the tile, especially in the corners. Pee on the toilet rim. I pulled down the bed sheet and underneath was a mess. There were hairs(black) and what looked like flakes of skin. I travel a lot and this was the worst I have ever seen. I immediately went down stairs to check out. The desk manager had a bit of an attitude and initially refused to refund my money citing that "they were my hairs". I pointed out to here that the hairs were all dark and I was a blonde and had not one dark hair on my body. She still refused. I didn't want to fight so I left. Upon leaving I noticed that she did not give me a receipt. I paid cash. I went back in and requested a receipt. She then called the day manager about the situation. She was told to refund my cash. I report this with the video I took from my phone to corporate. Received zero response. I went on the stay at the Town Center Marriott and had absolutely the best sleep I have ever had at a hotel.

Excellent - can't wait to go back. Bonne at the front desk is terrific! Location is super - love the Lady Lake area. Hotel staff very friendly and helpful. Cont. breakfast is top notch.
