Over all Pretty Good!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 2/19/10
We stayed in the hotel 2 days before a cruise. The rooms were clean and comfortable. We didn't have an outside window but rather a window overlooking the restaurant. It was definately a different view but not horrible. The pool is a little on the small side but the hot tub was decent. However the waterfall in the picture was on a timer (we were told) and never turned on. It was more of an atmosphere thing that we wanted it on so not really a big deal. The shark pit restaurant was REALLY good. Everything that our party ordered was wonderful. The marinated cheese steak sandwich was excellent. The colors of the hotel and decorations are appealing and having the surf shop attached was a different plus. Also being across the street from Ron Jon's Surf shop and just down the street from the beach was nice. The area is perfect if you don't have transportation there are plenty of stores in walking distance. If you need transportation from the airport to Cocoa Beach you can use Cocoa Beach Shuttle they are very reasonably priced. If you do have a car there is an attached parking garage with plenty of free parking. We had no problems with the hotel staff everyone from the front desk people to the restaurant waiters to the woman cleaning the rooms were very nice and helpful. One person in our group was put in an occuppied room but it was immediately rectified. I'm guessing they might have a problem with their check in software. No one in our group of 9 had any complaints. We booked this room last year and got a really good deal so yes it was worth what we paid.

Don't Stay Here!
By Pam, 7/24/09
We reserved a room on points at the Four Points in Cocoa Beach, FL before our cruise on Saturday, July 11. I was impressed with the way the hotel looked on the internet and could not wait to get there to start our vacation. Was I ever disappointed with my visit. I entered the lobby to get greeted by a LONG line of about six people to check in and only ONE clerk working. In the lobby, there sat a man with a twelve pack of beer drinking. I thought to myself, "Oh my god, do I really want my kids to see this?" I asked the clerk about our parking pass for our cruise that we had reserved with a representative from the hotel. It was explained to me that we would receive a pass to park in a sattelite parking lot for our cruise for an additional $35. The clerk had no clue what I was talking about. When I was checked in, we proceeded to our room. When I opened the door, imagine my surprise when we were greeted by A GUEST IN THE ROOM! We were given the key to an occupied room. I was so embarrased. I was beginning to doubt this hotel's security. We went back to the front desk and received another room. I asked the clerk to have the manager call me when she came in. She stated she would be in first thing Sunday morning, so I gave her my cell phone number. My family and I left the hotel at 9:00 am to get breakfast and do some sightseeing. We returned to the hotel at three o'clock. Imagine my surprise when our room had NOT been made up. Again, I called to see if the manager was in and was told yes. I wondered why she did not call me as requested, so I went down to visit her. I took her aside into the private computer room so no other guests could hear my comments. I explained to her all the things that I have observed and that I was very disappointed with my stay thus far. I also asked about the parking pass situation. She offered me no sympathy, her only excuse for the gentleman sitting in the lobby of her hotel drinking beer was that "this is a beach resort property". Huh??? The parking pass turned out to be the ablity to park at another Sheraton hotel closer to Port Caveral and be shuttled to the crusie ship. NOT WHAT I WAS TOLD. The managers lack of caring that we were issued a key for an occupied room also bothered me. Had another hotel been available to me, I would have NOT stayed there. When we returned from our cruise, once again, we stayed the night at this hotel (as we had no other choices). I asked for a rollaway bed. I was told upon check out that due to all the problems, I would not be charged the $10 for the bed. Alas, I was charged. If this is the way that Starwood runs their program and allows hotels like this to be in their program....I WILL NOT be signing up anytime soon. This stay was a DISASTER!

Terrible Customer Service
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 6/4/07
I have a problem. with their customer service. I was told when i made my reservation that they had free shuttle service from Orlando airport to the motel and also free shuttle service from the motel to the port where the cruise ships leave.I called the motel a day before i left and was informed that I had to pay for the trip from airport to motel that was $140.00 but they still had free shuttle to port. When I got to motel and ready to leave for port I was informed that I had to pay for that to.I told the manager that I was told that both of these were free when i made my reservation she acted as though I was lying and she refused to listen to me. I told her not to worry about the money I spent on transportation from the airport but just the $25.00 to the port because of what i was told when i made my reservation she refused and again acted as though I was lying.I also work with the public and would never let a customer feel the way I do over $25.00

Excellent Place!
By Boatindude, 3/27/07
The Front Desk service is the best in the area! The staff is friendly, professional, helpful and try their best to make your stay enjoyable. The rooms are brand new, clean and VERY comfortable! You can't beat the beds (most comfortable I've ever slept on). The services, location and overall upkeep is better than any in the area. The security is excellent (the entrance to the guest hallways are access controlled). Don't waste you money going anywhere else, this place is perfect!
