Poor value for price

When we arrive there was no one here although we had a reservation. We waited while the cab driver tried to find someone to let us in. The ammenities were non-existant. The bathroom was so small you can hardly turn around. It was poorly maintained with a cracked toilet seat. It had nothing: no shampoo, no soap, no hair dryer. There was a coffee pot in the room but no condiments. There were no extra blankets. It would have been a good value at $50/night but not at $100/night.

What's not to like about this place. Great food, affordable rates, friendly staff, scenic location, and did I mention great food! The perfect destination for a family on vacation, or a romantic get-a-way.

The Ft. Seward Lodge has it all for the traveler who enjoys a warm friendly atmosphere, uniquie expeiriences and very reasonable rates! The location is of this lodge allows the traveler the freedom to enjoy certain creature comforts yet get away from the hustle and bustle of it all. This place is a must see to believe hidden treasure of the Alaskan Wild!
