Glenmore Resort, Tower

I love spending my vacations here. It's peaceful and secluded right on the lake. There's always stuff to do no matter what the season and the owners are more than willing to point you in the direction of local gems. You can tell that the owners have lived in the area for years and know all the best places from fishing to dining. I've been coming here for many years and I can guarantee I will continue to come back! I think that Glenmore Resort is worth every penny because you're paying for quality not some cheap motel. I can't wait to go again!

Have stayed aound that area for olmost 30 years. Stayed at the Glenmore for the first time and was impressed by the owners, Leroy and Nancy. Very accomadating and friendly. Reminded me of places I went to as a child growing up. Cabins are older but ours was very clean. A little pricey for the accomadations, but what isn't these days. The Vermillion area is close to the BWCA and Ely. Lots to do and see. Highly reccomend.

been to glenmore for last 5 years in july. we have lots of good fun and good fishing. lots of other places and things to do in tower!

I have actually stayed here July '06, '07, '08, '09. We usually stay with several other family members. I will agree that their prices are high but when you shop around, lake Vermilion is expensive. LeRoy and Nancy are very accomodating and will help with anything you need. They do allow dogs but screen you first for what breed and behavior, a huge plus. They have two beaches that are shallow and perfect for little ones. The grounds are always kept very clean and nice. I highly reccomend Glenmore for those who want a more rustic and private lake Vermilion get-a-way. MIKE

overpriced for the poor accomidations. owners range from indiffernt to rude. they treat you like children and are extremly anal. there only concern is what they can get away with charging you. will not return and recommend everyone else look elsewhere to enjoy beautiful Lake Vermillion
