Good for me/Bad for my husband
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/03/08
I've been many times and love it. Love the privacy while soaking...gets me ready for the wrap. It's so wonderful and relaxing. Love that it's so rustic.
I took my husband (who NEVER gets out, just works then relaxes at home) and was SO excited for him to experience this. Well, turned out he couldn't wait to get out of there. I said, "What, the tubs? Why didn't you just pull the curtains?" He said "What curtains?"
NO curtains on the men's side around the tubs. I'm sure, like the staff said, most men don't care. Well, SOME DO. Why not spend just a little money and have curtains available around the tubs, you know, like "curtains optional?" Not all men like to flaunt their stuff or look at other men's asses. He didn't even get a wrap, he wanted out of there so bad.
No, he is NOT a prude. He just wanted a private soak, like I'd explained to him it would be. Not a hard thing, people at Carson. Wake up. Put up some curtains around the men's tubs. He said it reminded him of a men's bath house. Yes, by the way, he knows about those places, so he isn't a prude.
We were going to book for the next weekend for the family (including my son, a teenager). Not happening now.
Let us know when you set up the men's side like you do the women's. We'll be back.
We're heading back to Edgefield next weekend.
