I have written bad review after bad review since my horrible stay on my birthday oct 21. Horrible staff, overpriced, room and bar are the size of a shoe box. My king suite didn't have a fridge, microwave, or even any drinking glasses. My bed at maximum was a queen, which felt like it was held up by toothpicks.They offered only 3 small square pillows for a couple in a king bed suite. Our room service order (very pricey) came completely wrong. We complained and they did not offer anything except rudeness and attitude.Not even a single dollar of credit. No place to park. Our shower was broken and loudly dripping all night.$180 wasted on the worst serice, room and quality. Again, can not stress how rude, unappreciative, and unprofessional this staff is. Also, the restraunt manager Michelle needs a class in Customer service. Ruined my birthday. I hope no one ever stays at this horrible nasty place. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!

The resort is clean, comfortable, and the indoor pool is wonderful. Located on the harbor with great walking and near downtown. For the cost ($259 per night!) I expected the staff to offer better service. The front desk never did more than initially greet us - never asked if there were any areas of interest with which they could help, if there was anything we needed, etc. No one was mean, but no one went out of their way - except the manager of the restaurant. She went out of her way to help accommodate food issues for one of our children. She left an excellent impression with me. The general staff wouldn't even smile at guests, making us feel unwelcome. For the price paid, I expected the service by the resort staff to be much better. I felt that everyone came to work just to do their job, and no more. No one was interested in making an experice for the guests. In this day of declining economy (and if you drive around Sturgeon Bay, you will see evidence of the declining economy all over!), I would expect these resorts to go out of the way to create an experience so that I would want to come back. Next time I go, I will try a different resort because they did not make me feel like they are the best option in Sturgeon Bay.

We had a nice suite with a real kitchen stocked with cooking items as well as service ware, dining room, living room with a fire place and a 42" flat screen, and the bedroom had another flat screen and a hot tub. There was a nice balcony acessable from the living room as well as the bedroom looking out onto the bay. We didn't go on the dinner cruise but the next time we will for sure.

Two things surprised us about our stay at Stone Harbor. The first and most noticeable concern was the lack of basic room necessities: an in-room safe, microwave and refrigerator. Second, and less concerning, the room was a bit small for just two. Overall I'm not sure we would stay there again considering the price. It’s just too much money for what you get.

I loved the Stone Harbor we were there a few years back and looking into coming again this fall, we enjoyed the little sitting area outside we played backgammon and drank coffee .. We had the most romantic time, the people were so friendly .. Thank you for making our vacation Great...if you never stayed here your missing out..Its definetly a 5 star resort

We were just there this past weekend and could not have been more pleased. The place was very nice and the staff were all very courtious and friendly. The food was excellent and very tasty. The room was clean and well kept. The view was very nice. The bridge at night is lit up make for a nice view. The menu was very diverse and not too fancy. If you can't find someing to eat its your own fault. I would have no problems recomending this place to my friends and family.

I went to our church's ladies retreat. I was very excited as soon as I walked into the resort. It had great food (not expensive) and the room was very cozy. I enjoyed the fireplace and the homelike feeling that the staff gave us. I enjoyed shopping at the resort and also in the downtown district within walking distant of the resort. There were many unique stores. The retreat was great. I would recommend the Stone Harbor to anyone looking for a place to stay in Sturgeon Bay.

WOW, what a gorgeous facility. Staff was so friendly and personable. Superb dining experience with a beautiful waterview and lovely fireplace. The entertainment in the lounge was superb and at no extra charge! Overall, I can't wait to go back!!!

We liked the rooms, pools, views and mostly everything for accomodations. The overall service, however, was not good. The nicest staff were the maids, which seems backwards since they are not wait staff or working the front desk. One of the room keys had to be re-set three times in the matter of twenty minutes because of a faulty door lock. The rooms were clean and nice, as well as the pool areas. We ate dinner on a Friday night when it was not crowded yet and it took a very long time to get a drink order, food order, etc. It did not help that the waitress rolled her eyes while walking away from a question a member of our party asked of her. She also plopped down our dessert forks as if we were the dish room, and proceeded to walk away as we tried to ask her questions. It was not better when I asked for a drink from the bar Saturday afternoon and was received with the same negative attitude by the same employee. She spilled my drink over the side of the glass when pouring it, did not wipe it down and ignored me when I asked for a napkin. To make matters worse, the cake for my sister's wedding was pre-cut without our request or knowledge. Stone Harbor would be a much better place without the restaurant.
