Great deal and location for the money
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/21/07
My family and I have stayed at the Ethan Allen Inn for about the last seven years the night before our Smugglers Notch ski vacation and then the night afterwards. It is extremely convenient to the airport, Mall where you can always find great snow gear on sale at Sears, and really good restaurants. Can't remember the famous Seafood restaurant, but eveyrone knows it. We pay about $60 a night. Sometimes we stay two night if we want to "do Burlington" before Smuggs. Its a motor court from the 50's for God's sake, not a resort. I always stay in the winter, and have never experienced any bugs. Most people who stay here are packed for a week and have their own shampoo. I don't expect samples. If you want that, go right down the street and spend $119 to stay one night at the holiday inn, like we did one night for one year and never did again. One year they even kept my son's snow sled until we returned the next year because we couldn't take it on the airplane! They still had it for us when we got back the next year. I can't say enough about this quaint place. Can't wait to get back again.

$100.00 Bad experience
By Debbi, 8/27/07
Quaint maybe if you like the sink to be chipping and falling apart. Mediun size bugs crawling in the bathroom. Bathroom right out of the 1960's and mildew on everything. No shampoo !! Who does not have that anymore? Good things Close to the airport. Friendly people. Room did not smell. great airconditioner. But over all never again for that amount of money. I was desperate !!!

Bad experience
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 7/20/07
I have stayed at this motel several times, usually with good results. It's shabby but clean enough and close to airport. This time, however, when I returned for my second night of stay, they had gathered all my belongings, put them in a garbage bag, and rented my room to someone else. They couldn't find any evidence of my registration even though I had stayed there the night before. My clothes were wrinkled; I rec'd no apology for the mistake; and I was charged for the room anyway. It was icky and bad business. I won't stay there again.

Perfect for my needs!
By Kelly, 12/9/06
This quaint motel is really close to the airport. It is safe and clean. While it is not a "posh" resort, it is a perfect place to stay if you waiting for a flight (as I usually am). The price is very reasonable and it is conveniently located to all that Burlington has to offer.

What an inexpensive motel should be like!!
By heckles, 2/12/06
This is about the best $60 motel I've ever stayed in. Kept very clean, regularly repainted, has a pool which is quite pleasant on summer evenings. Only drawback is the Williston Road traffic; it's located on a straightaway so while noise is reduced, but doing a left toward Burlington during business hours fcan be time consuming and/or hazardous. The diner a short way down the road is a good place to get breakfast and turn your car around. Also walking distance to the Ground Round; close to Hooter's and the airport. Very well recommended.
