Stone Hill Inn, Stowe

Exceptional service, rooms were beautifully maintained, bathroom was clean and perfect for couples. Food was excellent, breakfast was amazing and the inn keepers were very friendly, always making sure we had what we needed. This was the first Inn my fiancee and I stayed at and it has spoiled us to others we've been to. A+ all the way. Wish we could go every weekend.

Stone Hill Inn in Stowe Vermont is at the top of our favorites list for Luxury Bed and Breakfast Inns. My husband and I are seasoned travelers we have stayed in over 150 upscale Inns and Bed and Breakfast across North America so we speak from experience. Amy and Hap are young energetic Innkeepers that have a lot of patience and try to please everyone. They have anticipated every need and amenity to make for a wonderful experience. The Inn is newly constructed it is evident a lot of planning was done, the layout is very inviting every spacious room has a king bed and two comfortable chairs Television with VCR (library of movies to pick from) and sliding glass door to a patio overlooking a beautiful landscape with water fall. Each Room has a huge bathroom with a double sink, plenty of counter space, roomy shower and the best things Big Jacuzzi tubs with lots of jets and a fireplace that you can view from the Jacuzzi or the bedroom. Nice soft pillows on the bed and a comforter with a choice if you prefer firmer ones. The layout of the building is functional in that the rooms are spread out enough that they are very private no stairs to climb is a plus and no one above you. There are 3 common areas a quite room to read or do some work at a desk with high speed internet. A casual area with comfortable sofas and gorgeous stone fireplace also a billiard and game table area. 24 hour beverage panty with an evening hors d�oeuvres. In the morning the breakfast time is extensive to accommodate the early birds or if you like to sleep in. a bit. The breakfast room is a separate wing of the building individual tables or groups if you request it, each table has its own window view. Lots of choices in sweet or savory delights with fruit and some type of muffin to start. Hap is a Culinary genius and we look forward to his new cook book. Each morning Amy helps with things to do and places to go in the area and each evening she helps with dinner suggestions and directions. They watch over the Inn to make sure each guest is cared for. We will return.
