Greentrees Crazy Woman Campground, Gillette

We travel all over the country with my husbands work and find ourselves living in our RV more than our home. This is a very nice place to stay! Very clean restrooms and laundry room. All sites are shaded and the campground sits behind a hill so some of the wind is blocked. And in Wyoming, that means alot! We had some problems with our air conditioner in our rv and thought it was due to the sites electrical box. Staff had someone come and check it out that very day. It was a problem within our camper. There is a nice little play area for kids and there are adorable little bunnies that will almost come close enough for you to touch! Price is in line with others in the area. And as far as the staff goes, we certainly have no complaints! The owner brought mail to me at my site. And when we left (unexpectantly) it was before I had received a Christmas present that I had ordered. Not a problem. They simply mailed it to me at home and didn't even want me to reimburse them for the shipping charges! We have stayed at Crazy Woman the last 2 out of 3 years we have been in Gillette working. We will DEFINITELY stay there again!

My family absolutely enjoyed our stay! This is the second time we have been here and it was even better than the first! The staff was amazing. They were very helpful and always polite.The showers and bathrooms are spic and span, we used the hot tub and it was very clean & up to code as well...and her flowerbeds are awesome!!! The rec center is very laid back and comfortable with tv, sofas, video games, reading materiial, maps , laundry and more... The location is nearly perfect for parks, stores, dining, and gas stations. It was somewhat noisy with a hospital construction site beside the campground, but not at fault of the owner. The trees and water fountain helped to distract you from the noise. We will definately return as often as we can.

The owner was rude as was her son who was running the camp. There was never anyone in the office. When we were in the rec. room we had to tell people where to find the staff or the phone number to find the staff. They want you to pay by 11am but have no envelopes for the payment and that is the only way to pay when the office is closed which is most of the day. Many people just drove away. We were quoted a price and then it went up for a site with electric and water. They charge $10 extra per night for a tent site with utilities that is $300 a month. And we had to move our tent every 3 days so we moved to a dirt site like they said so we would not have to move our tent. After 4 days on the dirt site they told us they had changed their minds and we had to continue moving our tents. The only non-hill dirt site was without electric or water so they charged us for a second tent. The ladies room smells really bad. The place is trashed with pipes, wood and other junk. There is no pool, the hot tub does not work and the playground is unsafe. The owner and her boyfriend spent the holiday weekend cutting down trees and swearing at eachother as we tried to camp with our children. Speaking of children the owners son who appears to have no children attempted to tell us (parents of 8 and grandparents of 1) how to raise our children. We were told that his mother paniced when she would see so much stuff all over the rec. room. My well behaved 2 yr old would have crayons and one sheet of paper, my 14 yr old an ipod and playing cards. Myself a camera and computer. I assumed we were using the rec. room as intended for recreational activities. We were quiet and always cleaned up after ourselves and even pushed in our chairs but still we were told our use of the rec. room used up too much electricity and was messy. The owners son told me that if I had a kind spirit I would have helped him fold a dirty cat blanket that my son had partly unfolded. I was going to get it when I wasn't busy in the middle of something. He said that since I knew my son unfolded it once I should have folded it ; which is what I intended. Anyway, it is over priced, the staff is rude and have no idea what they are doing, the bathroom stink, there is no ammentities and just an all around bad place to stay.

We tented for 1 night, and had no problems at all, everything was clean, they even raked off our spot, when we called to reserve a spot. The workers, or owners were VERY nice, and we will stay there again, if we happen to pass through.

i spent many a day and nite here its a place where the owner has given and been taken anyone that has the priveledge to stay wont foerget or regret i had an opportunity to make my life here but chosethe bottle and lost the most beutiful smile stay here u wont want to leave

Nobody is ever in the office, she expects you to chase her down to pay her rent for 1. Another is the hot tub hasnt worked since we came here (over 8 months ago) The pool wasnt working until 2 weeks before it was too cold to swim. The video games are no longer here. The washers & dryers dont work worth a crap (clothes are still dry when they come out of the washer. The water pressure sucks. There are only a few sites that can actually get cable, and they arent nice sites. There are a bunch of old trailers & campers here, that are apparently just being stored here. You can never get your mail because she takes it out of the mailbox and carries it around in her truck or takes it to her house. And most importantly, she doesnt take checks or credit cards, only cash, even when you are a monthly tenant. The tanning bed is in the office, where nobody is ever at, so you cant use it either!

when we arrived, we were the only ones camping. we were situated next to a beautiful mountain stream with fresh clear water. on a hike, we discovered extensive beaver dams and beaver-built waterways - not to mention quite a few beavers! we also caught trout, saw other wildlife, and when all was said and done - had an amazing experience!!! i can't wait to go back there this year with my kids. this is the sort of thing that is becomming more and more rare in the u.s..

I was happy with my stay. They have a pool, spa and sauna. Restrooms were clean. Lots of trees. Real nice folks. Guy behind the counter had the biggest sideburns! Laundry had quite a few broken machines, but they said they were working to fix them.

This is not a campground, it is a migrant camp. There were many "seasonal" campers. Many of the sites were occupied by construction migrants and all their junk. They parked their trucks all over the place; took over the men's restroom. We were given a site next to a RV that had four flat tires and was in terrible disrepair. This was apparently one of the migrant "homes". The trailer was so close to us that we could hear him coughing and hawking all evening. He stepped out of the trailer door to spit. We left to eat elswhere. This is without a doubt the worst place I have ever seen. I would avoid it like the plague. It gets no stars ( I had to put one because a rating required) but is doesn't deserve it.
