Pelletier Bed & Breakfast, Brunswick

I booked this B&B online, and only then read the reviews. They sounded fake, I thought. All raves! Highly suspicious. But we arrived (my wife and I, and our college-touring son) and met the proprietor, Jeannine Pelletier, and were bowled over by her enthusiasm, warmth and spirit. The place was decorated exactly as it was when she bought it from a convent, right down to the statues of saints in some of the rooms, beatific paintings on the walls, all carefully maintained in prisitne 1930's colors and style. The beds--also from the convent--had brand new mattresses and linens. All spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Jeannine herself is a force of nature, one of those people you have to meet before you die. Really. And I'm not one of her relatives, I swear.

The accommodations were beautiful and tastefully done. Ms. Pelletier's breakfasts are unparalleled. I told my son not to get too used to the phenomenal service. Every need was tended too, including having an eyeglass screwdriver for fixing eyeglass frames. Her recommendations for restaurants were perfect. We felt like we were very well taken care of. I highly recommend even though I'm taking a chance that the next time I want to book the inn, there will be no space because of glowing reviews like this one!

Mrs. Pelletier makes staying here a wonderful, homey, friendly and fun experience. Stay there when you're in Brunswick!

The place is lovely and comfortable. I sleep better there than anywhere. The only thing that might bother some is that only one of the rooms has a private bath. Then there's Mrs. Pelletier. She's warm, friendly, vivacious, and has some of the most interesting stories and a love of life. She loves meeting people from near and far, and welcomes all with open arms. You'll feel like you are visiting an old friend. I wouldn't stay anywhere else in Brunswick.

TOTALLY CONFORTABLE. FELT LIKE HOME. HOPE TO COME BACK OVER THE COASTAL TOURNMENT THIS JUNE. MY HUSBAND, DAUGHTER AND MYSELF HAD THE TOP FLOOR. ROOMS VERY CLEAN. NICE LITTLE NOOK FOR OUR DAUGHTER TO HAVE HER OWN PLACE
