Flagship Inn, Boothbay Harbor

Flagship Motor Inn in Boothbay Harbor, Maine is a great place to stay and a great value. The rooms are comfortable and IMMACULATELY CLEAN. The prices are a very reasonable (half the price of some of the waterfront motels). We've been guests at the Flagship weekly for the past year. No matter which room or housekeeper we've had, the comfort and cleanliness have been consistently excellent. We've stayed in rooms with a king size bed, mini fridge. microwave and side chair with ottoman. We've also stayed in rooms with 2 double beds and a table with 2 chairs. Unlike some places where we've made repeat visits, all of the beds at Flagship are in good shape and very comfy. All rooms have hairdryers, ironing boards, irons and cable TV. The bed linens and towels are soft, not rough and scratchy. For people who have to be “connected”, Flagship has free wireless internet. You can boot your laptop in your room and away you go! There is also a computer in the lobby for guest use. Flagship has a gorgeous new swimming pool. The Harbor Trolley stops at the office so you don't need to fight for parking if you go into town. If you like to walk, the waterfront is less than 1 mile from the Flagship. There is a restaurant next door. Within a short walk you will find a Rite-Aid, Laundromat, a grocery store that is also an Agency (liquor) store and a cinema. There is complementary coffee, juice and newspapers available in the lobby, as well as a good assortment of brochures and info about the area. Now, for the “down” side. The staff and owners are so friendly and helpful that you’ll never want to go home. They truly go out of their way to make you feel welcome. Try the Flagship Motor Inn. You won’t be disappointed!
