No problems for our family and in-laws

There were A LOT of us in our group! Myself, my wife, our 2 kids, my parents, and my wife's parents. The total amount of people in our group made up 8 people. My wife and I had been trying to get the in-laws together for years. Issues that I won't get into were the underlying cause of the absence of my wife and I's parents getting together. My son had his 16th birthday, which was a milestone for him. I have to say, as a father, I was touched to see our family together, with both sides of grandparents by his side. My wife and I just got finished paying off our mortgage on our home, and felt as a celebration we'd take our family out to the Dells for a relaxing vacation! Our family just loved the Chula Vista waterpark passes. My father, who's in his 70's just loved the wave-pool. I NEVER thought I'd see the day when my parents would go down a water slide in an inner-tube! They both looked youthful again! My wife took alot of photos of our vacation. Looking back, the memories made at the Atlantis Hotel are priceless. Seeing our families come together will always remain ingrained in my memory. The staff was kind, and understanding that we weren't from the area, and they assisted us with our needs. Since our stay was excellent, we've already booked another stay next year in February 2012. My wife and I will book a Neptune Suite again, and invite both sets of grandparents, and enjoy this time of year, every year, as long as both our parents are living. Life's too short to focus on soaring gas prices, and a rough economy. You know that saying "You can't take it with you" well, there's a lot of truth to that saying. Just some food for thought..

Favorite hotel in the Dells

I am a repeat customer and this hotel keeps getting better and better. I've been coming here on and off for the last four years. What I'm most pleased about is the constant updating they have been doing within the last year or so. Newer beds, wi fi in rooms. They redecorated the lobby. Repainted the pools. Are changing the furniture in rooms. They have more cable stations. Even have put fancier shampoo and lotion in the rooms. So the updating ranges from small to even big changes in the hotel. Every time I come there is something updated. They even re did the parking lot. The staff is incredible. Very kind and accomodating. I also love the location. I can walk to some popular attractions and restaurants right near the hotel. The smaller kids I bring enjoy the kiddy pools. The older children enjoy the lap pools, and the free wristbands to the bigger waterparks. My favorite rooms to stay in are the themed rooms. The tropical volcano is a blast. I also get a kick out of the mermaid suites. If you have a little girl who loves mermiads, I recommend this room. They also are very romantic for couples as well. I was happy with the hotel before, but all the recent updating is definately an added plus to my favorite hotel in the Dells!

Best Service recieved over our honeymoon!

The Atlantis succeeded in fulfilling our needs! The hotel is mid-sized, and has a good sized waterpark for little kids, to teens. My wife and I just loved our Roman Palace suite, and enjoyed the whirlpool too! Our wedding was on October 9th, 2010, and we've been back as guests a few times due to their reasonable prices, and friendly staff. We didn't want to be treated like a "number", as the larger hotels treat their guests as such. We wanted to be treated with kindness and respect. Our lives are impacted by how we are treated at hotels. The larger hotels tend to be busier, and not have the time to try to help you with your concerns. We wanted to stay away from all of that drama. Honest truth: The Atlantis Hotel will always be at the TOP of our list due to these 3 KEY FACTORS: (1) CLEANLINESS OF ROOMS (2) MULTIPLE WATERPARK USUAGE (3) EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE - My wife and I rate this hotel 10+ stars, and we will definitely continue coming back to the Atlantis for our romantic get-aways, and when we have children of our own!

The worse experience ever

I regret so much booking this hotel,first of all the front desk staff is not friendly at all and even a little rude. Also their houskeeping staff do not do a good job, our sheets were never changed, and also they claim the room was left unclean and with a glass broken wich is untrue and even if they dont have proof of it they will still charge your card for it. I think it would of been better if we had payed a little more but for good quality..Also the pool is very small and the whirlpool was cold. I wouldnt recommend this hotel to anyone.

We will never come back

It is the worst hotels out of all wisconsin dells because it is ridiculous when you get charged for three used pillows that we apparently took and for smoking which isn't true and are getting charged $170.00 I recommend to make sure the staff people check your rooms before you leave the hotel so then they don't make up lies and then you need to get charged for that. Please people why would we take some used pillows if you can buy cheaper ones at any store.

Me & hubby spent one night this past July. The room was nice & very clean with plenty of towels. The bed was very comfortable. Enjoyable time for us both!

I totally disliked this hotel. My children and I decided to do a last minute weekend getaway and booked this hotel. When we got all checked-in to the the hotel our room was dirty. After a long drive there with tired children I had to change to another room. It was such a hassel, then the hotel refused to compensate us for the inconvenience and just blew it off as an oh well we moved your room didn't we.

We thought it sounded nice, the Atlantis with two indoor pools, and booked this hotel for three nights at the Dells. Big mistake. The pools were for kids under 11 so us two adults didn't feel right about being there kidless. Went to the poolside bar when we got there first night and it was closed. The room was ugly, the bathroom had chipped paint and broken fixtures, and the halls smelled funny. The desk staff was rude. There were cameras everywhere - that should have been a clue about problems. We were stolen from, two items from my suitcase, from a zipped area of my suitcase. I reported it and the manager looked into it and called me back to tell me that they could not find what I was missing after they checked with housekeeping and laundry... Of coure they are not going to find it, did they think their staff would say, "Yes, we went into her suitcase and took a couple of things." When I asked for an upgrade to a jacuzzi room for my trouble, they said no problem but wanted to charge me $20 for it. What was stolen from me was worth more than $20! We are SORRY that we stayed there and hope that NO ONE else makes the same MISTAKE. Not worth it!!

Dirty rooms/ needs to be revamped. Pool is great for kids 8 and under. Rude front desk. It has a GREAT location. near Mt olympus and noah's ark. Ducks are right next door.

A great family place!

The place was great! The rooms were clean and comfortable! The place is huge! They have a bar at the pool. Friendly staff! The only bad thing is that there is no breakfast.
