Snake River Rv Park, Idaho Falls

Shade is good, mature trees. Industrial area, noisy--had to use earplugs to sleep. Good for dogs. Go to Freemont street by Freeman Park and park by Northwind parking lot. Large area fenced off from roads, open to river, with native plants. Women employees of RV Park are very nice and helpful. Avoid the owner--chip on his shoulder and very unpleasant at times. A couple of safety problems at Park--car barriers are not attached to the ground--I fell and sprained my wrist. Also large tree branches untrimmed and ready to fall. I told owner about safety issues and he gave this kind of response: "If you step on a log you can expect to get hurt". Elderly and children beware! Overall, not a 5 star place but best in Idaho Falls if you avoid the owner!

We stayed here 4th of July weekend. Noise level is not bad for being in town and there is great access to restaurants and stores. Our rig is 50' long and we had no problem fitting into our space. Staff is friendly and the park is very clean. They really try hard to make you feel comfortable. I would definitely stay here again.

Most RV Parks are near a highway or an interstate and are not peaceful places. Even though this park was near I-15, it was different, lots trees and grass, quiet, and very clean. First the check in was easy and the women at the front desk were efficient and friendly. I later asked to change my campsite, they said no problem. I then noticed the picnic tables were covered with clean plastic table clothes-what a unique touch. The next day when I checked out, they were also very helpful and friendly. I highly recommend this park.

This is a very good rv park with a staff that see you are made welcomed. We will return to this park if we are ever back in this city. Also, we were in an emergency situation with a family that suffered a very tramatic experience while in Yellowstone Ntl. Park and the staff did eveything they could to see to their needs. As it turned out, accommodations were made closer to the hospital. Thank you staff for your concern and help!

What a find! Why was this place a secret for us for so long? We stumbled on the Snake River RV Park when we were searching the Good Sam Directory to find an RV Park in the Idaho Falls area. It is a beautiful, well groomed campground with lots of green grass and trees and a very friendly staff. The pool and hot tub and other facilities are well maintained. The store is well stocked with necessities and gifts as well. It is convenient to the freeway and yet is very quiet and peaceful. We would definitely recommend it to anyone traveling through this area of Idaho.

After locating this camp on our GPS, we only wanted a quiet rest. We discovered the best camping experience in our 7200 mile coast to coast travels. This one camp ground has made me a believer in the Good Sam Club and will probably drop my KOA card. Try this camp when you approach Yellowstone from the west and you will be very pleased.

We were treated great in the past, but this time it was not the same. It took 3 women to get us checked in and then we had to go back and get another space because the space they assigned us was already full. The people were not nearly as friendly as the prior visits. We like the park because we felt very welcomed and like we were "old friends" in the past. The park is on the high end of reasonable for price but it was worth it for the welcome we always got.

Was a nice park and fairly inexpensive. Free wifi and was reliable. No regreats here except the dump station was impossible to get to with a tow car attached. TV reception was good over the air with my digital TV. They had firepits and sold firewood at the general store. Cell phone reception was great as they had a cell tower within view of the campground. Grass was green. Pet Freindly. Clean. Neat general store with RV supplies and trinkets. They have laundry services. A great one night stop over. Overall, it was a nice place with nice people running it. We had three RVs in our group. They placed us right next to one another which was very nice. Can't go wrong here. Great deal and nice place.

This was one of the nicest parks we have visited in our travels.We travel at least 6 months out of the year and by far this was one of the nicest parks we have visited.The people were awesome,the park was nice and clean and the hot-tub was just what we needed after a stressful day of travel.We would definately return if we are in this area again! Thank You!!!

We were at this park 4 or 5 years ago and said we'd never go back. There is no other park in Idaho Falls that is safe looking, so we went back. What a shock! The park is now beautiful. The manager and office staff were very nice and helpful. They had us laughing before we left the office! The park was really full, but guess that tells you something about how nice it is now. WiFi was great, bathrooms and laundry were very clean, grass was green and the trees were trimmed up so we could get in with no problem! We will be staying there again the next time we are in the area.
