Harbor House Inn, Grand Haven

in the Grand Haven area. I booked a room for my mom and dad. I was quite surprise on how beautiful it is. Built in 1987 but has the look and feel of an much older mansion yet everything is new. Beautiful screened porch for your morning breakfast. I can't think of one negative to say about Harbor House, however, it is a bit expensive but as always, you get what you pay for. I would recommend Harbor House to everyone.

Went here for anniversary with my boyfriend and wow..this place is great! The service is fantastic and the rooms are beautiful. We chose a room with a whirpool tub and fireplace. Both were great and made the room very cozy. The beds are huge and very comfortable. They weren't kidding when they say that their caramels are delicious..they're possibly the best I have ever had! The breakfast buffet in the morning was very yummy, with a variety of fruits, breads, juices, and other breakfast foods. Planning on coming back next summer when we can take advantage of the huge balconies and awesome views. Best bed and breakfast anywhere!

My Husband and I stayed at the Harbor House Inn in Sept. 2005. The room was beautiful and CLEAN! We stayed in a room with a balcony, a fireplace, and a Jacuzzi. There's a comfortable amount of space in the sitting area for 2-3 people. The furniture is clean and comfortable. You could tell that the people who run this Inn take care of it. This is better than any hotel I've stayed in and nicer than any Bed and Breakfast that I've stayed in. We were within walking distance of everything. Our balcony overlooked the street but when we angled our chairs to the right, there was a nice view of the water. We stayed after Labor Day so some of the shops were closed for the season but there was still enough to do. I would definately stay there again.
