Harren Brook Inn, Saratoga Springs

My wife and I showed up at 10:30 PM the night of our check-in and were verbally assaulted by the host for not calling to let them when we were arriving. We suffered through at least a five minute harangue that bordered on the psychopathic - if my wife weren't there, his remarks would have been addressed differently. I was appalled by this incident and shocked that an apology for his behavior wasn't later offered. Needless to say, our romantic little weekend getaway was ruined. I tried to forget this episode but cannot, in good conscience, let others be potentially exposed to this unstable person without trying to forewarn them.
