In the Linwood Historic Preservation District, close to Elmwood Avenue's restaurants, and boutiques, this B & B is rated as one of the best in the city. Its five rooms celebrate the nationalities that helped found Buffalo—French, Italian, Irish, German, and Polish—and there's a Native American common area. The building was constructed in 1881 for Colonel Charles Lee Abell, a descendant of the Mayflower pilgrims. The B&B opened in 1990 following major renovations, and is a founding member of the Western New York Bed and Breakfast Association.

1 reviews for Beau Fleuve, Buffalo
the Beau Fleuve - the best B&B in Buffalo!
By Dennis R. King II, 01/15/09
The Beau Fleuve B&B is a crown jewel for lodging in the city of Buffalo. This gorgeous house has five beautiful rooms celebrating some of the ethnicities that helped shape Buffalo historically (the German, Italian, Polish, French, and Irish). There is also a Native American common area that celebrates the Iroquois influence in the Western New York region and a parlor downstairs. Rik and Ramona are wonderful hosts, and the breakfasts by candlelight are delicious! I stayed in the Irish Room, and it is very spacious and immaculate. The Beau Fleuve is first class. Awesome place!
