Southport Bed & Breakfast, Kenosha

Its not a five star resort, but for a quiet little town this was the most lovely little place to stay. We had the whole place to ourselves. The owners were gone for a couple days and we didnt mind providing our own breakfast. In fact, we rather preferred it. The room had a Queen bed, not king, but certainly adequate. There was also a roll away in the closet if needed at no extra charge. We enjoyed having a small fridge, microwave, toaster, and coffee maker in the room. There is the most beautiful park and beach 2 blocks away where we had b-b-ques each day. For traveling on a budget, this was perfect for our needs. If we ever return to the area we will definately stay again. As a bonus, the owners are the nicest people you ever want to meet. Much like going home to visit your parents. They certainly didn't bother us at all. We loved our time here and would recommend it to anyone who enjoys a homey atmosphere.
