Cornell Inn, Lenox

This was our first trip to the Berkshires and we went online and found another B&B and stayed there one night only in Lenox, MA. The experience was terrible and we were about to find a hotel when we chanced upon THE CORNELL INN and they had availablility. Our experience from the moment we walked into the inn to make our reservation until the moment we hugged Lynn and the innkeeper (Doug) goodbye was awesome, incredible, wonderful and amazing. The rooms are absolutely beautiful; clean and neat with fluffy towels and wash clothes.The service is outstanding. Lynn, who manages the inn is an amazing person. She cannot do enough for the guests to make them happy and to make them feel at home. And she does an outstanding job. When we were going to an evening concert at Tanglewood one night, she ran out the door into the parking lot to give us insect repellent! The atmosphere is so homey and comfortable. The guests were all so friendly. The breakfast is delicious and the breakfast room overlooks a beautiful garden and pond with a cascading waterfall. The mood is so comfortable and relaxed that we felt like we were visiting close friends or family. We just arrived home this afternoon and my husband and I are planning a short trip back to see the fall foliage and to stay, of course, with our lovely new friends at the Cornell Inn in Lenox, MA.
