Gateways Inn, Lenox

Our reservation made the prior day was not picked up from their on-line system until we called about 24 hours later. Arrived for dinner as we'd been told by Fabrizio only to be told by a chilly Rosemary that "no more reservations", then turning her attention without another word to Fabrizio - "I need your help in here" - before sending us off to pound the pavement for food at a late hour. Then again, a seemingly overworked (though the place was far from full) Rosemary at morning breakfast. Nothing of the warmth and welcome that one expects from a B&B at 170 a night off season. Would never recommend or return. Cheerless and average.
