Summer and Winter GEM!
By Dinewinelove, 10/09/08
This place is magical! It is even listed in the book "1,000 Places To See Before You Die". I do agree with one of the other reviews, it is not a place to bring kids; nor would kids want to be brought here (to "fancy" & no pool), this is a place to bring you lover and fall in love all over again! The attention to detail and the wonderful staff makes The Peerless Hotel one of the best experiences of my lodging life. If you visit in the non-peak season, their rates are amazingly low (some of the room well below $100.00 a night). It is a must!

not family friendly

Just a heads up. The Peerless won't accept anyone with a child under 14 years of age. There are some B&Bs in Ashland that will take in parents with children over 5 yrs old.

TRULY PEERLESS!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/10/07
BEAUTIFUL & SERENE! JUST OFF "BARDWAY" LIES THIS GEM. COZY YET ELEGANT ROOMS IN A HISTORIC YET MODERN SPACE. The gardens alone are worth the price. Aveda bath products and luxury linens. Their restaurant next door is as good as is gets in Ashland. WONDERFUL!
