Great place!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 02/03/10
Charming B&B in a nice town (Wallingford CT). Walking distance to everything. They also have very nice extended stay accommodations for longer-term stays, including a great 2-bedromm duplex apartment that's like a real home.

Serene, relaxing weekend
By v, 08/26/08
My boyfriend and I stayed here for a weekend to have some alone time and to get away from the city. It was very comfortable and our room was lovely and spacious, including a sitting room, large bedroom with queen bed, and hot tub in the large bathroom. The most special moment was breakfast when Becky and Dave chatted with us and served a wonderful hot breakfast. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Excellent

I have stayed at the Wallingford Victorian Bed and Breafast in Wallingford CT many times. I stay there at least once and sometimes twice a year, It is my choice of stay in the New England area. The rooms are always clean. The hosts are charming and very helpful to the events and locations in the area. The breakfast is always relaxing and very well prepared and served. I enthusiastically recommend this place. Dr. Joseph O. Elwell

a splendid weekend
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/20/07
We had a wonderful time here -- highlights were breakfast and Becky's advice and conversation. Wonderful hot breakfast - personal choices, with an additional surprise dish each morning; quite tasty. Becky was extremely helpful about area attractions and restaurants, and a lovely conversation companion in the morning. Great location - in town, but quiet nonetheless. Nicely decorated and clean accomodations. No complaints at all. We would certainly recommend it to a friend.

A Beautiful Experience
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/09/07
The innkeepers of this lovely Victorian get-a-way were gracious, warm and made us feel at home immediately upon our arrival. The Margaret room was spotless and had a wonderful old time feel with a beautiful bathroom, including a large whirlpool bath. The morning of our departure, Becky greeted us in the formal dining room for breakfast. The table was elegantly set with a lace tablecloth, an antique coffee urn, candles lit and the morning sun shinning through the alcove. We had a full hot breakfast, including Becky's homemade maple muffins. After breakfast, she took us on a tour, which included seeing the inside of the awesome turret and an extensive history of the home. The experience was more than we expected and we are hoping to return for a second stay.

Charming and Wonderful
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/07/07
My boyfriend and I were looking to get away from the city for a weekend and spend a nice quiet weekend together. The Wallingford B&B was the perfect choice. We arrived on Friday night and were greeted by Becky who welcomed us with a big smile. Our room was very charming, yet still large and comfortable. It was clean, the bed was made and there was a box of Valentine's chocolates waiting for us on our pillow (since it was the weekend of Valentine's day). The best thing was when we went to sleep and for a nice change from the city, it was absolutely silent and completely dark in the room. It was so peaceful, we loved it! The next morning we were greeted by Becky who made us our breakfast (including her pancake muffins, which she had just thought up to make...they were delicious, by the way!). The breakfast was delicious, and it was great being surrounded by the antiques and "Victorian house" atmosphere. We and the other couple that were dining were a little shy to talking, but Becky was great at stirring up conversations, as well as guiding us to the many things to do in town. (One tip she gave was that The Tavern on Main St. was not actually a Tavern, but a great restaurant with a bad name. She was so right!) To wrap this up, all in all, our stay here was absolutely wonderful! We were very welcomed and were able to relax just as we had intended. I strongly recommend staying here, it made for a wonderful weekend getaway!

Horrible!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 02/21/07
The bed and breakfast was crowded with dusty decorations including Christmas garland, angels, and wreaths (though it was not Christmas time). The hosts are are very talkative and chose only to make inappropriate, offensive comments that made my husband and I very uncomfortable. The bed linens seemingly had not been changed, and the carpet was full of stains. Overall, our stay was terrible and I would strongly recommend that you not stay here.
