Red Mill Motel, South Yarmouth

This was a horrible motel. I've stayed in many crummy motels but this ones takes the cake. It is dirty, filled with bugs and the owners are very rude. Would not recommend to anyone.

I'm not very picky and usually don't mind staying in cheap hotels - saving a few bucks and getting a clean bed and bathroom always seemed like a good deal . Boy, is that philosophy wrong here! The front office was exceptionally rude and unfriendly. The room although on first impression looked ok, was infested with bedbugs, bugs and cockroaches. Two days later my whole body is covered with bed bugs bites. I also uploaded a picture of a cockroach crawling in the room. We later got a fraudulent charge of another nearly 70 dollars added to the bill for no reason. This seems to happen frequently in this motel. PLEASE DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND DO NOT STAY HERE. There are plenty of other motels in this area in the same price range that are not infested with bed bugs and cockroaches and with ownership that doesn't add bogus fraudulent charges for the heck of it.

This was the most awful motel I have ever been to! It stunk terribly of cigarettes and mold even though there was a no smoking sign on the front door. The carpet had water stains and the bathroom had lots of black mold around the tub, embedded in the caulk. The bed smelled like urine, two light bulbs were out and there were stains on the walls and cigarette burns on the table. I don't recommend this place at all! Yes, it's inexpensive, but there are far more Motels in the same area with cheaper or reasonable prices.

I've stayed at alot of crummy motels, but this one definitely takes the cake. And it was twice as expensive as your normal dilapidated motel. open the door to the room and it smells like mold. Everything that could have a cigarette burn in it did. I can totally see choosing not to remodel, but for the price there is no excuse for putting off regular maintenance. The fake flowers that were probably put on the wall in 1974 had about an inch of dust on them. The toilet seat was cracked in half. Shower head was pretty much a pipe sticking out of the was and the shower it self looked like it was pieced together with four different stained and mildewy showers and held together with a ton of caulk and sheetrock screws. There was not shade or curtain in the bathroom window and there was a building with direct sight line in so showering was uncomfortable at best. Lets just say we wont be back if the price was 40 dollars an night let alone 125. I implore you PLEASE take your family elsewhere.

it is clean with good service and good location. is close to restaurants shopping centers and feels safe.tha people who work the are nice.and very polite.
