Part of the Iowa State Fairgrounds' complex of permanent buildings and exhibit facilities, the State Fair Campgrounds in Des Moines features more than 1,800 sites with water and electrical hookups, hundreds more without and almost 600 sites with sewers; three large bathhouses with showers, toilets and sinks, and three dumping stations.
