Atlantic House, Narragansett

The room was relatively clean. No TV remote was found and button to turn TV on and off missing- had to use a pen. When we arrived at 7pm there was no one to be found- desk closed tightly and no note on counter. If it wasn't for a gentleman coming in, we would never have known to go to the Village Inn to get the key to our room. The girls there were very nice. House is not secure at night- side door open even though it has a number key pad. Our so-called reservation was different then confirmed- balcony was absent- window view of the building- no ocean view- Bed was so close to the door that it was hard to close the door. The bed frame was not secure so when you sat at the edge of the bed it made noise. The air conditioner made a noise and the door didn't close tightly- on all four sides you could see the light coming in while you were trying to sleep. Watch that bathroom step! not expecting it could really throw your back out.

ocean view, close walk to the beach, but u dont get beach pass and u have to walk/drive to the villige inn to go to the pool which is nice though, its a close drive to alot of fun activties and the hammerhead resastraunt. the ocean is right there out ur window and upstairs theres a beautiful balcony.

This was our first time at The Atlantic House and it will not be our last. We had ocean front rooms,with private balconies,the rooms were clean and very comfortable. Open the drapes in the morning and see Narragansett Bay,what more could you ask for. The rooms are bright,with 2 large windows and a slider. The only negative was no lift,if you have trouble walking,stay on the first floor,the stairs are rather steep,but it's an old hotel,that's to be expected. We look forward to returning to The Atlantic House and Narragansett.

Very disappointing. Room was dirty. Poor lighting;had to borrow a lamp. Room was cramped. Everything was shabby. No lights on outside at night. Nothing positive. Staff delivers lip service only. Uncaring. Would never go back.
