Great Memories!
Peck's was a different kind of inn. A number of years ago we stayed there. It was late January and with an impending snow storm we were met at the front door by Marguerite, the elderly and very hospitable innkeeper. The place was quaint but uncluttered. The inn and our room were decorated very nicely in colonial period furnishings. Our inn keeper shared her living room with us (not often found in most inns). We felt at home. Our breakfast the next morning of fresh baked muffins, eggs and a glorious berry and fruit salad was a great way to start our day as we headed out to roam through stone castles and peer over waterfalls.
I understand the inn is in renovation. Check to see when it will reopen, it will be a warm and treasured memory for anyone who stays there.
