This place was the best find. Beautiful suites with stunning views. Colleen cooked the most amazing breakfast. They treated us so well, we felt really at home here. This is our third visit and highly recommend it. Don't walk to Seatuck....RUN!!! Cause its worth every penny.

The PERFECT RETREAT for the tired and weary!!!!
By DianaR, 01/02/09
My husband and I have been to the Seatuck Cove House several times now (including our Wedding Night). Everytime we have visited we start talking about the next time we can book another stay! We have stayed in the Dune Road room as well as the Seatuck. Both of these rooms are gorgeous. EVERY room has a private bath...I saw an earlier review that stated otherwise but they are wrong. Two of the rooms just have a hall between their own bath (which is in their own private mini-wing of the house). From the moment you arrive you feel as if you are in your own home. Colleen (the inn keeper) really makes it so welcoming that you feel at ease and able to enjoy the whole home and not just as though you have to remain in your own room. The house is stunning and the views are breath taking. You have to take the online virtual tour but even that doesn't do this B & B proper justice. The breakfast has always been incredible. Three courses of yummy indulgence every morning!!!! I could go on and on but it would be better to see for yourself..don't hesitate to check this place out. You won't regret it!

The real deal on Seatuck Cove House
By Linda, 02/26/06
We, just returned from a weekend at Seatuck Cove House in Eastport NY. It is a wonderful bed and breakfast on Long Island's southshore, Moriches Bay. The house is beautiful only 6 yrs old with outstanding panoramic views from all 5 bedrooms. The bedrooms all but one have whirlpool tubs and one has a fireplace. While a stay here is not inexpensive I feel It was worth every penny They offer a 3 course breakfast prepared by Colleen the Innkeeper {who made us feel so at home] and Carol. We were greeted by Ilene upon check who comes in each day along with Carol to help Colleen. We were allowed to check in early. The staff is the best and SCH is a very relaxing and beautiful place for a get-a-way.Trumpets on the Bay is a wonderful restuarant across the street {It was closed for one week while we were there but the fact you need reservstions far in advanced is proof its worth a visit}Colleen suggested two other great restuarants in the area and even made reservations for us. We went off season and can't wait to go back this summer. When planning this weekend I looked for reviews of SCH, I only found one. I knew when I saw the title it was a gross exageration.I don't know why some people feel it necessary to promote negativity when there is none. I'm glad I went anyway and got the real deal.

Our Stay At the "Bates" Hotel
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/21/05
Don't be deceived by the gorgeous location of this establishment. This was the worst "mini-vacation" that we ever had. The place is beautiful with lovely views of the water. But that is it. If you value your privacy, do not go here. As we found out, this is not a place for a romantic retreat. In fact, if you want to speak above a whisper, this is not the place for you. There is a myriad list of "rules" that are left on your bed. You cannot eat in your room. You may drink but carefully. You cannot lay on top of the bed coverings. The list goes on and on. We should have been alerted then and hightailed it out of there. Every little noise is heard by the staff, and we were awoken by loud talking in the kitchen early in the morning. We had the television on and were speaking in a conversational tone and received a call from one of the staff "to please keep it down as we were bothering the only other guests in the place". Turns out these people were in another wing of the house altogether, and it wasn't them who complained. The place was empty other than this other couple. We were made to feel so uncomfortable that we left the next morning. We did make our feelings known but instead of being accommodated, we were "yelled" out of the place. Never again.
