Riviera Complex, the, Monticello

I can hardly wait forr our reservation letter to arrive. My family just loves it. Iwish we could get reservations for a whole week. I keep asking and waiting. Maybe this summer it will happen. It can be very relaxing or if ou want to be busy there is a ton of things to do. We come from Illinois andhave a wonderful time.

This place was a breath of fresh air...the room was clean, the grounds were emaculate, the scenery was great...but all that aside...it was the housekeeping staff that impressed me the most...In my excitement to go to the beach I left my wallet in the room...the housekeeping staff found it and then searched the grounds and found me. HONESTY... A BREATH OF FRESH AIR in these times...my vacation could have been ruined ...it would not have been because of the money but just the sheer inconvience of it all. I will never forget the kindness and honesty they showed that day...

I would reccommend this place to a friend.....other than the no water pressure in the room, and a few spiders our visit was good, extremly friendly employees rooms clean, AC was excellent......pool was enjoyable, i would come back again definitly! i thought the price was a little bit much......u should allow coupons in July also i would of stayed a whole week if the rate wasn't over $100 per night!

My family has been staying at the Riviera for 25+ years. We've always found the motel to be extremely clean and the staff is top notch. The views of Lake Shafer from the motel are hard to beat.

I have gone here only 4 years but, it is absolutely breataking. You overlook the lake and have accomidations for your boat if reserved with reservations. They provide you with gas grills and an area to picnic. Not just one grill either. The host and owner is a complete doll, she will do whatever she can to make your stay memorable. I would highly reccomend the Riviera Complex. The apartments are clean and accomadating.

The riv is located right across the street from the boardwalk.We have been using them for 22 years now and will continue to use there services for many more years to come.
