I would definitely go back!

What Park City Mountain resort offers that a lot of other places do not is the chance for people to buy-out suites in the hotel, decorative them how they want, and rent them out to vacationers seperately. Although I did stay at the Resort, I did not reserve my room through the hotel, I rented it from a private owner and I could not have been happier! The hotel works amazingly with its private renters, and you have full use of all the hotel amenities such as free parking, use of the hot tubs and the indoor/outdoor pool. My husband and I stayed there for 7 nights during his military leave. Park City is close enough to Salt Lake that we could take trips down there to visit family, but we could still have our own romantic getaway. If you stay during the week you'll be pleasantly surprised to find out you have the hotel almost to yourself. We were there the week before the 4th of July and most of the time we had the hot tub and pool to ourselves and there were no noisy neighbors. The people who's condo we rented did a BEAUTIFUL job decorating and included everything from dishes to hot tub towels, hair dryers, shampoo, body wash, DVD player, etc. I really felt like I could live there. The surrounding shops are great, and the alpine slide is on the hillside directly behind the resort. There are also free buses that pick up passengers at certain intervals and take them into park city. My husband and I had no problem riding into town each night for dinner. Our room was just down the hall from one of the hot tubs, and the indoor/outdoor combination pool was just across the courtyard on the other side of the ice skating rink (a bounce house during the summer). If you're lucky enough to get a room right above the chocolate factory you can smell them making it in the morning. I have no complaints whatsoever. The night time security guard that patrols the parking lot is delightful to talk to. I HIGHLY suggest that if you plan on staying here you rent a privately-owned condo rather than reserving through the hotel. You get amenities, luxuries, and personal services you don't get otherwise. The couple we rented from was even kind enough to call us the first evening to make sure we arrived ok and that everything was clean and in order. It was absolutely the best 7 days I have spent with my husband!
