Solitude Cabins, Estes Park

These are basically condos. Pretty roomy though. 2 bedroomrs, one upstairs one down stairs. The upstairs is the basically the bedroom and it had a nice little balcony to watch the stars or wildlife. The rooms were very comfortable with king beds in each. Our cabin had a shower in the upstairs bathroom and a jetted tub in the downstairs. Nice kitchen and a gas fireplace that gets nice and warm. The lake is basically across the street. The cabins are pretty close by each other, but there wasn't much notice of other people. There didn't seem to be anyone in them most of the days that we were there. One thing to note is that these seem to be fairly new and there was some construction going on by 8am just about every day. Some heavy machinery(noisey) a few of the days so there wasn't much sleeping in, not that I wanted to. There wasn't much solitude there in the day time as workers and machines were going around us most of the day, but I didn't stay at the cabin much anyways. Service was good I guess, I didn't use it much, didn't really have to which is a good thing. We came in late and they called us to let us know that they would leave our keys for us which was very nice. The managers were very friendly. Over all this was a nice place and I'm sure once the construction is done it will be even better.
