This will be our second season with them. We have enjoyed the park and the amenities up to this point thus far, have yet to be over run by the crowds, but it is what you make it, as anywhere.
I think the staff needs a dose a nice. The one woman in the welcome center is anything but welcoming and if she's the first impression, then I can see how people can be put off.
The maintenance staff works hard to address all the issues at hand. People need to keep in mind, a place of this size can't address all issues at once. I don't think it's a very large staff from what I've seen, but they do a great job.
If you are thinking of buying, just keep in mind the salesman is just that - a salesman...anything to get you to sign. You'll learn as time goes on, he's just a bit full of crap!!!!!!!! Even though the park closes the second week of December, the amenities are shut down in mid-November.
This is one of the more family friendly parks around, so much to do at any given time. An inside water park, even when the weather outside stinks. There's a game room, a party room, a kid's entertainment club, a nightclub and a general store to name a few and then there are all the outside activities.
I too have seen some activity in the water park that should not be, but brining it to the attention of the lifeguard quickly corrected the situation. I do have one complaint, the children's section is for just that - little kids - so they have a place to be without the big ones getting in their way, yet the bigger kids feel it's their place. A lifeguard quickly addresses that. If not, the manager is usually always on premises, so he will take care of it.
There are more than enough bath houses, trash receptors everywhere, wildlife, etc., and the location is excellent.
