My Great Uncle's House

I am one of the Great Nephews of the late Norman Mayfield, who was a "Mover & Shaker" in Tahoe City, CA from the mid-1930's to the early-1970's when he retired permenantly to Hemet, CA. I was at the house about 1 year ago. After seeing the house & speaking with the Innkeepers in 1983. They have done a fantastic job of keeping the House up to date, and leaving it almost as Uncle Norman had left it when for Health reasons he moved to the high desert. For an elegant, cozy, quiet place to stay near the action in downtown Tahoe City, CA, this unique B&B is for you. Even if you are traveling on Business or Pleasure.
