Description
Come and see why we are voted one of the top 10 Inns of the Mid-Atlantic Region. The only thing we overlook, is the ocean. Our Craftsman-style Inn, circa 1915, includes many of the design features commonly associated with Craftsman homes: Bright, spacious rooms, open plan dining and living areas and an inglenook with a fireplace. Windows with window benches to view the beach and beautiful natural wood floors. In keeping with the Arts and Crafts aesthetic we have decorated with furniture from the L. & J. G. Stickley Company which is complemented by Mission-style lanterns. Genuine hospitality and good food are served up daily. So, plan a trip soon. We can't wait to see you.
We stayed at Rhythm of the Sea for Thanksgiving 2008 and it surpassed almost all of our expectations. Bed and breakfasts aren't usually child friendly (which we can certainly understand) and our daughter was a year and a half at the time of our visit - however, they have a separate large suite above the carriage house that was perfect for our visit. We had our own completely separate space but also were able to enjoy the FANTASTIC cooking of the proprietors. Crab stuffed omelettes - check, homemade granola and yogurt parfaits - check; a Thanksgiving dinner that included not only turkey but goose - incredible. Hosts/owners are incredibly accomodating and went above and beyond to make sure we had a great stay. Can't comment on the rooms in the main lodge since we stayed in the separate suite but if they were half as comfortable as our room(s) they would be worth the visit. A bonus is that the Inn is directly across the street from the beach.
Would stay there anytime we were in Cape May - you should try it.
