Victorian Memories B & B, St Charles

Ruth & John, the inn keepers, make you feel at home the moment you walk in. The inn is absolutely beautiful, antiques everywhere, you feel like you are walking back in time. The breakfast is nothing short of fantastic, if you walk away hungry, it is your own fault. We look forward to buying Ruth's cook book when published, her breakfasts will match that of any 5 star restaurant. We stayed in two different rooms during our visit, we look forward to staying in the other two when we return. It will be one of our favorite inns and can't wait until spring to return and see the backyard garden in bloom. If you are not sure what attractions to see or which restaurants to visit for dinner, Ruth and John will be more than happy to make suggestions. Oh almost forgot to mention Harley the family dog at the inn, friendly little guy that never met a stranger, you will want to take him home, but please don't, he is part of the great and warm atmosphere at this inn.
