Great Place
By Ashley, 01/22/10
i am a teen who goes here every single year. there is tons of other kids to hang out with and eveything is orderly. you get to know all the workeres on a personal level. the drinking in the pavilion everyone is talking about is NOT teenagers they are legal adults i know because they are brothers and sisters of my friends there. i have never had a problem with anyone neither has my parents. i have made life long friendships and some of my best memories happen there. the little kids can do the craftes, camp outs, games, and movie nights they have at the activity center which has the arcade right next door. there is always tons of people at the pool but its never to crowded.the bathrooms are a little old but not dirty. the general store has some amazing workers and anything you could need. ice cream, drinks, bait, chips, water toys, soveniers. they even have pastreys and a deli. i love treasure beach and i go there every single weekend that its open. the guest are great and you can never relly get bored with ocean city being right down the street. i love love treasure beach. it is an amazing place

Great Location!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/06/09
Great location! Located right on the bay and only a mile away from the beaches. Close to Ocean City,MD. Plenty of minature golf courses nearby, as well as restaurants, go-kart track, and a water park. Plenty of shopping in the town and only minutes from the outlets in Rehoboth Beach. The best part is there isn't any sales tax in Delaware! My son loved the skateboard park on the premises. There is a crabbing and fishing pier and boat ramp on the premises too. You can pick up a short-term fishing license right across the street. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable of the area. The Laundromat appears to be newly renovated and is one of the cleanest I have ever seen in a campground. The bathhouse needs some remodeling though--very outdated. The campstore was very well stocked with plenty of supplies and souveniers. The ladies that work in the store are absolutely wonderful, friendly and entertaining! Their deli sandwiches are overly-stuffed and delicious. An excellent value. My children aged 6 and 8 loved going to the activity center. There was plenty for them to do and I was surprised that there was no charge for the craft supplies. We loved the pools! My son loved the skatepark on the premises too. Just right for an 8 yr old, but the older kids might not find it very challenging. But I like that the skateboard was on the premises and we didn't have to fight the traffic in Ocean City to use theirs. Make sure you have a helmet and elbow and knee pads for your kids though, because they won't let you use the skatepark without them. That's a good thing though. Looking forward to going back in July!

Not the best for tent camping
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/02/09
We expected a typical tent campsite surrounded by woods. Their tent site is right by the gate with a fence separating us from major road. The receptionists were great, but the site definetely does not qualify for a camp site if you plan to do tenting.

Fantastic Vacation Spot!
By Rick, 08/16/08
We had a wonderful time at the beach! You cannot beat the location of this campground -- right on the bay and only a mile from the ocean! Near Ocean City, MD, but not right in the hustle and bustle. We had a little difficulty with our rv when arrived and the staff was pleasant and very helpful getting our problem fixed. The grounds are well kept and the bathrooms clean. They have so much to offer here, it is well worth the $60 per night for our family of five! Can't wait to go back next year!

Stay away from this one if you are smart!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/11/08
1. The management has alot to be disired, its run by Hitler I think. 2. Lot rent increases way too much each year and you get nothing extra for it. In fact the more rent you pay the more guest fees etc. you get added on. 3. My guest have found on many occassions used condoms in the bath housesas well as the playground and pavillion area. 4. Rules are for certain individuals only! 5. Security should actually do something instead of sitting in the office. 6. Teens drinking nightly at the paviliion and guards see them and do nothing. 7. Staff talks about residents way too much. No professionalism at all.

Location vs. Customer Service
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/13/06
Being a long time customer of Treasure Beach, I am disheartened with each year on several issues: 1) There is no security regarding the under-age drinking and smoking that the pre-teens exhibit daily 2) The lifeguards at the pool do not pay attention to the water at all. Some do not speak fluent english and spend time eating and sleeping rather than lifeguarding 3) The customer service... well basically there is none. You would think that if you simply followed the rules, that you would be fine, but that is simply not the case. From trash cans to guests... there is always an issue that they are looking to kick you out for. Good Luck. What do they have to offer? Excellent location! With the rates jumping hundreds of dollars each year... I'll stick with just location.
