Chuck Wagon General Store, Torrey

What a cute clean place to stay....I'll be back People are very nice and the room was clean-good beds-delightful and nice pool.

What a great place to relax after a day of driving. The room was sparkling clean, air conditioned; general store right there to pick up supplies. Great swimming pool. It was very quiet even though they were full. Highly recommend you stay here!

Conveniently located in "downtown" Torrey, Austin's has all the amenities you'll need right on premises and is in walking distance to most of the town's shops and sights. Rooms have always been clean and service is good even when the main "office" is being run from the general store out front.

The Chuckwagon has been family owned and operated for over 30 years. It has the general store, a deli, laundramat, hair salon, and Gringo's Mexican Restaurant right on property. Not to mention the choice of rooms with 2 queen beds, cabins with 2 bedrooms, pull out couch, and a small kitchen, or an apartment with 2 bedrooms, full kitchen and large living room. The Chuckwagon also has a great pool and hot tub. It sits right in the middle of town, walking distance to other restaurants, art gallery, bookstore, and post office.

Our family has been traveling to the Chuckwagon for at least ten years, and we've never been disappointed. Randy Austin, the owner, is one of the friendliest people I know, and makes friends with everyone who visits. The store is amazingly well stocked, and the bakery is probably the best in Southern Utah.

Great owner, we arrived late and they offered to open the pool so our kids could take a swim. The bakery is a easy walk to the end of the parking lot. Great place to pick up some breakfast items. Very close to Capital Reef. Would have made a great base to tour the park if we had stayed longer. We will be returning this year.
