Evening Shade Inn Bed and Breakfast, Eureka Springs

My husband and I planned to elope to Eureka Springs. We didn't want the cheap Elvis Vegas thing. We wanted something romantic...we just didn't want the hassle. Evening Shade was perfect. They planned everything for us. All we had to do was pick up the license and show up. Yet, it was a beutiful wedding! The wedding was set in the gazebo in a beautiful wooded setting. The ceremony was brief but very intimate. Clark was willing to stay and take all of the pictures we wanted. Everything about the day was amazing! Everything about our stay was perfect. They were so friendly and helpful, helping us find places to eat and things to do and giving us insider information on the places that were good and the places that were over priced. The breakfasts and desserts were delicious! The room was clean, smelled good and very romantic! They even left us snacks, like Chex Mix, hot chocolate and lots of little chocolates. Oh..and there is a little journal of all the guests that came before us that we could read. I would highly reccommend Evening Shade and will definitely return!

This is a great place to stay for a weekend. The location is excellent and the breadfast is fantastic. This is one of the best vacations we have ever had. We came home feeling very rested. The cottage was very clean and everyone was so nice to help us. Donna and Clark are great owners. We plan to come back.

The pictures on the website don't do it justice. The rooms are much larger and nicer than they seem in the pictures. The breakfasts are wonderful - more than we could eat. The desserts even more delicious! Can't wait to go again.

Privacy of the country, yet in the city limits. Wonderful breakfast brought right to the door! Desserts left in the room in the afternoon. Quiet, relaxed setting with parking right at your door. Only 3 minutes from downtown. We loved it so much that we hated to leave. I reccommend it highly!
