The Grandview At Las Vegas, Las Vegas

We gave up as a RCI swap our condo in Orlando, it has 3 bigger than the biggest bedroom here bedrooms and 3 baths. We have a balcony that over looks a golf course.This place has no balcony.If you wanted to go out and have a smoke or take a look at the bright lights of the South bend all you had to do was pull the venition blind a little if you could get past the dust from the valance hanging over top it,We were in the IRIS building during Rodeo Buckle award week so all the cowboys Many of them with their trucks parked at the back of the South bend. Every morning they drove past the Iris bldg at the GrandView roads weren't wide enuf for some of the good old boys and the horse carriers. We had to get 2 rent a cars and the GPS didn't have all the correct addresses for the New building and construction going on around the Grandview, Someone get the Satelite straightened out please. We did go see Bill Engvall one night, He had a funny show. I guess what really got us. Was the fact that we gave up 2 years of our time share to come here. And had to pay for the extra rooms that still made the kids sleep on the fold out sofa. Mother nature didn't co-operate to well either and it was way cold here all week. It would of been nice if some way the casino's could find a way to exhaust all the cigarette smoke from a building an still keep the resturants warm.ALL IN ALL You Can KEEP Vegas!!I think that's the secret.We were here the week before Christmas and we didn't find the Christmas Spirit here.All the Bright lights, clinking bells just made me Home sick. I said more than once I could of been home Christmas Shopping and baking cookies or wrapping packages instead of this.Yes I did go to the casino's 1 day. I did win some money.but not enough to make me stay. or come back or say I had a good time in Vegas.I'll use my time share more wisely next time.Oh and the secret to not sitting thru the simiar is Just Say NO. And don't answer the blinking light on the phone. Peace Out.

Well my husband and I stayed at a different hotel on the strip in which we were approached to participate in a time share here at the grandview and get free tickets for going to a show of our choice. We were interested in it however because our friends went too they would not let us participate. So we wasted a lot of time out of our vacation for nothing. Then as if that wasn't bad enough we asked for a manager and the manager was incredibly rude and was not willing to help basically said oh well. So, not only will we never go to this place we will pass the word onto anyone willing to listen onto how much they suck and how bad of customer service they have.

We stayed at The Grandview this past week. Its a very nice place except for the ROACHES, ANTS, AND EVEN A SPIDER. We called the front desk to complain, and they told us oh! there's always bugs on the first floor. They act like its no big deal. They said its because of the heat. They never apologized or offered anything for our inconvenience. I called back again because I wanted to check out of there, they said I could get another room if I wanted, on another floor, we agreed, and it was so diffecult to relocate, because we had a disabled person with us. We finally moved completely across the street, it took us so long, and they didn't even offer to help us in any way. So if you stay there, don't get a room on the first floor!!! unless you like kicking it with ROACHES,ANTS, AND SPIDERS, OH! MY........

I AM IN SEARCH OFF SOME DISSATISFIED PEOPLE THAT FEEL THEY WERE LIED TO WHEN BUYING THIER TIME THROUGH GRANDVIEW. I WOULD LIKE TO FILE A CLASS ACTION SUIT AGAINST THESE PEOPLE SO THAT THIS TYPE OF SALE SCAM DOES NOT HAPPEN TO ANYONE ELSE. PLEASE CALL DAVE S. AT 412-381-5452

As timeshare properties go, this is one of the worst. It is located so far from the strip that it is very timely to visit anything of interest and the rooms are not as nice as many of the other hotels and resorts in the area. It also lacks on amenities and the service is very poor. Definitly not a good place to stay!

Our stay at the grandview was great. The kids were hapy they had gotten to do a llot of activities by the pool. We had funny moments in the workout room. Our rooms were warm and cozy there was nothing wrong with the rooms and the other guests that were there were very friendly.

Honesty is not part of this resort. Many of the advertised things this resort posts were not true. If you intend to take the 90 minute orientation tour, expect to be in a 2.5 hour high preasure sales presentation. The 2 bedroom suite is really two one bedroom suites. Good for some not what we were needing. A waste of a lot of money!!! If you want to sleep in on your vacation because you were on the Vegas strip late, forget it. The black-out curtains are in the living room part of the suite not in the bedroom where you need them. If you do bring your kids to Vegas, the activities room is only to show potential customers to see, not for paying customers to use. Watch the faucets in the suites, cold is hot and hot is cold and when I say hot I mean scortching your skin hot!!!! The floors have been vacuumed but as you will see when you step into the shower the floors have not been mopped. Definitely not worth the money we spent. I would not recommend you spend your money here. :-( There are plenty of places in Las Vegas at the same rate that are better and are on the strip rather than ten miles away

The room and resort are beautiful, but you share an entryway to your room with another room, which I didn't like. Our main complaint was the noise. The walls are very thin - you can hear a person sneeze in the next room! On the night of the Friday we checked in, there was a man singing very loudly to his radio from 10:30 until approx. 2:00 in the morning when it finally ceased. I called the front desk & they said they would take care of it but nothing happened until about 45 minutes later! The next night my husband & I were awakened early in the morning by a man moaning - maybe having a bad dream? Also, when anyone uses the water in another unit the sound is roaring!! I would never buy a unit in this place - poor construction. Also the timeshare was ridiculous - They sent us to 3 different people to try to get us to buy & when we went to get our gifts there was a huge line & only one person working there!! We were also unsatisfied with the check in process as we had to wait until after 4:00 when they said they would mysteriously have non-smoking rooms even though they just happened to have smoking rooms before that time! We went back twice & spoke with other couples who had been told the same thing & we were all made to wait until exactly 4:00 even though we had been there all day wanting to check in!!! Bad service!

My family and I went there on a mini vacation. Room was nice and so was the service. Here is were the nigntmare begins. Charged my credit card for incidental services, just in case i used the wi fi. After i returned home, had $700.00 in charges charged to my credit card(FRAUD). The hotel was the only place on this vacation that I used my credit card. Still have not had the $100.00 credited back to my card for this incidental charges that were not used.
