Don't bother. We accepted tickets to two shows at a "reduced"cost of $200 provided we attended the 2 hour presentation. We got out three and a half hours later after nearly getting into an argument over our decision not to accept. The price was reduced to a little over $5000 at the end. We also found out that some people were given tickets for $50 & had that refunded to them with the tickets as well as gaming vouchers. We were also offered the same tickets we got for $100 so perhaps the sales people are making a little on the side - who would know because the talk is friendly, familiar and cheap. Save yourself half a day, talk to you hotel desk and stay clear of these guys.

this is the third time i stay on this resort, i always get a good deal on line. if they offer you free show tickets just say no, remember nothing is free.

We were privileged to have been quests at this exquisite resort! My husband, daughter and I were genuinely pleased with the spacious and clean room, as well as the property itself. The view we had of the Las Vegas Strip was remarkable! The staff was very friendly and professional! It was our home away from home for a week, and I would recommend it to our family and friends! Perfect location away from the Vegas hustle and bustle, but yet conveniently located in a very driveable distance to all the attractions. Thank you GVR!

Bought our timeshare in 2005 and it is all paid for!!! We go every year for memorial day weekend and love it. Pools are nice and big, deli on site for awesome sandwiches, Also has video room for kids and fitness room for adults. Much quieter than staying on the strip. Great being next to Southpoint too for restaurants, casino, bowling alley, theater, shops etc.

It's noisy- I can hear alarm clocks, water running, next door conversations and voices. The guy at check in offered tickets or $250 food vouchers for a tour and tell what we thought of the place since we were already owners. When I showed up early the next morning, they said I didn't "qualify" because my spose wasn't there. They really want to sell and that's all. Thanks for wasted vacation time. I did like having South Point next door is nice and convenient. The 4rooms there look nice. The view is pretty. Also convenient shuttle for groceries. last time I stayed at Tahiti Villiage exchage- no timeshare hastles at all- none, quiet and nicer pool/lazy river.

The Grandview is NOT a ripoff! PEOPLE JUST DON'T UNDERSTAND THE CONCEPT OF TIMESHARE!!! LEARN MORE INFO. BEFORE RUINING IT FOR OTHER PEOPLE!!! Grandview is a awesome place to own a timeshare because you have really good trading power due to it's location in Las Vegas. The reason the sales reps show you different prices, is because it depends on how much time you vacation every year. They normally show you the one that's 18,990 that gives you 3-4 every year and ends with the $9,990 that gives you 2 weeks every other year, so it just depends on how much time you vacation or want to start to vacation.The monthly payments, maintenance fees and RCI fees are the same money you would spend anyway. YOU HAVE TO REMEMBER that you are staying in 5 star resorts that are worth $500 to $1,000+ per Night. They aren't those crappy rooms like you would normally get. Plus, they have all of the Disney resorts and you only have to pay $149 for the entire week or longer.

We bought our timeshare 2 bedroom unit (deeded) at the grandview in dec. of '08,didn't get to use it the next year due to a complicated pregnancy,but used our week to stay in reno nv. This year we were able to stay and we're very happy that we bought a timeshare in grandview.The room is HUGE!!!!! so much space for a family of four.The bedroom is big enough even with our playpen by the window.It's clean,contemporary decor,big kitchen and bathroom,and most of all THE BEST BED WE'VE EVER SLEPT ON! Sheets are very soft and comfy,even my 4 yr old didn't mind sleeping in the pull out bed in the living room. It's very quiet,can't hear our neighbors unless they are opening/closing the door, which we're very pleased with, (stayed at treasure island in '08 and heard the shower,toilet flushing,footsteps in the hallway)And the building isn't conected to a casino which we liked due to small kids, but the casino next door (south point) offers a lot of stuff to do, large bowling alley, theater, spa, casino etc..etc.. The grandview also offered daily activities for kids and adults like arts and craft, movies for the kids complimentary facials etc..etc..This place is not too far from the strip,the outlet mall or even groceries and other stuff you might need. Overall we enjoyed our stay, we'd definitely stay again with or with out kids...

We bought 2 weeks 5+ years ago and have never regretted the decision. We live in New Zealand and use RCI to trade our points to travel the world at leisure, enjoying holidays with our UK grandchildren and seeing places we may never have otherwise visited. The bonus Berkeley weeks are great if you are flexible with your holidays or retired. We have only spent one most enjoyable week at Grand View,guess there is just too much else out there to see now we have learnt how to make the most of our points!

I know this is long, but it is worth reading so that you don’t waste your time or money. Grandview gave me the worst experience of my life while I was on vacation. My husband, a couple friends, and I were staying at the Luxor and they conned us into going to a presentation for some show tickets and gaming money. I must say that the show and gaming money was NOT worth the aggrevation. First, the presentor tells you that this is a no pressure sales pitch which couldn’t be farther from the truth. He refused to tell us how much the units cost until he finished his sales pitch and showed us a unit. The units are nice but it is not worth it. He tried to tell us that if we don’t want the unit after we buy that we can just sell it and get all of our money back. I told him that he can’t guarantee that since he can’t control the market. He got upset and started to get snippy. He said that he knows I’m more intelligent than that and tried to show me some graph that he was drawing to show how the housing market never goes all the way down. (Yeah, right). Once he finally told us the price, $19,990, we told him that we were not ready to make this decision on the spot. Their finance guy came over trying to get us to buy. He asked what our jobs were and my husband told him he was in the military. So the finance guy said that he could offer us a military rate that would drop it to $13,000. He told us our payments would only be $323 with their financing which is based off of 17%!! We still did not want to buy so he offered to reduce the price again and give us 5 weeks a year. The new price was $9,990. We told him no because we refused to pay that much interest, wanted to talk to our bank, and were not prepared to make this decision. The sales associate then informed us that if we didn’t buy that day we would miss out and would never get this rate again. (So much for no pressure, huh?) He then turned 180 degrees and became very rude once he realized that there was NO way we were going to buy that day. We were escorted out to this other guy to take a short survey. He then said that he could reduce the price to a little over $5,000. We still said no. After all this, we were put in this room to wait for our names to be called so we could collect our tickets that were promised to us. We were told this whole thing would only take 2 hours. We were going on the 4th hour. We look around and there are a lot of people just standing around and all we want to do is leave. My husband got up to ask someone when we would be getting out of here. To my amazement, the guy started shouting at my husband saying that they are doing the best they can and to go sit down. It was VERY unprofessional. When we finally got out of there and loaded up onto the shuttle, we were not the only ones that felt frustrated and pressured. Everyone else on the shuttle had the same complaints. Also, to my surprise, apparently everyone got the “military discount.” There was no such thing as a military discount. It was more of a “oh, no! You didn’t buy on the first price discount.” Also, on a side note, they were not upfront about all the costs. They said that there is a yearly “maintenance fee” of $677. What they don’t tell you is that this price can go up over time. Also, you are not guaranteed a week when you want to transfer to a different resort. Plus, you have to pay to switch weeks and resorts. On top of that, you are still making your monthly payment for a property you can only visit once a year….this is a waste of money! They will throw a whole bunch of numbers at you and scribble all over this packet to try to confuse you. Stay alert and think about this…it is not worth it.
