Ripplin' Waters Campground, Sevierville

I do not recommend this place at all. I haven't actually stayed here,but the woman working at this place makes it nearly impossible to make a reservation. I called 2 weeks ago to make a reservation for 2 cabins side by side for a stay in August. After I gave all of the info, I saked the woman to send me a confirmation via e-mail she replied " I dont know how to do that" but i will call you with a confirmation number. i waited 2 days before I called back and asked why she didn't call me,she beat around the bush and didn't give me a straight answer. I then told her I needed something confirming my reservation either by e-mail or by U.S. mail and she took my e-mail address at that time and said she would send it. I waited 2 more days before calling back asking her why she didnt send it. She then beat around the bush again and asked for my e-mail again. Then I got angry and said "i already gave it to you". Then she replied"I dont want to rent to you". and she hung up on me. I called back to be sure she canceled my reservation and she said"dont ever call back here again". I think they need to have some competent people working at Ripplin Waters Campground. There are ALOT of very nice campgrounds in the area and I DO NOT recommend this one.

We have stayed twice mid-December and New Years. Very clean and peaceful. Wonderful area to walk our dog. Plan to visit again in the Spring. They were in the process of upgrading cable service. Exceptionally warm and clean bath house for winter camping. We really like this campground. Easy for our 40' motorhome to get in and out.

Too much noise from helicoptors coming and going across the road. Sattilite TV was useless (4 sorry Channels). Internet (when it works) was about 6 mb download speed but dropps all the way down to less than 56k a lot of the time. Could be a very good campground if the helicopter fly overs were eliminated and a well stocked capground store was established. Oh Yeah and get rid of their internet ISP for one that works.

This campground really doesn't deserve the negative reviews. I was a bit concerned after reading them, however I'm very glad that we didn't change our reservations. This campground is wonderful. It was very quite, very clean, and the staff were extremely helpful and seemed happy to be there. There are fulltimers that live on site, they were very quite and nice to the visitors. We enjoyed the pool, used the bath house daily, even used the laundry-even though I don't like doing laundry on vacation, it was just convient to do. I strongly recommend this campground if you are going to Dollywood or other attractions, easy off the interstate, not in the middle of the traffic.

it maybe clean but i was a monthly and let me tell u i stayed one month it is like a sopa there. Everyone talks about everyone (owners included). Gene the office lady is very rude and that part reason I did leave. I have vistied this campground a couple times when they first bought it. I liked it when they first bought it was a nice place then but its not as fun there now maybe cleaner but the people there are not nice. Well maybe to your face. I will tell everyone not to go there. If they want a peaceful vaction do not go there. Gosip central!

the owners are very friendly,accomodating and very helpful.the service is great.the campground is very clean and i especially enjoyed the clean bath house.the campground is very quiet and the people are very friendly.i look forward to visiting again.
