3 reviews for Graham-Carroll House Bed & Breakfast, Muskogee
poor service
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 02/15/09
recently several members of my family went here for a valentine's meal. the servers were very pleasant and seeing to the needs of them until another party came in. evidently this party was 'rich' looking and the hostess quickly scolded the servers and demanded that they cease attending to my family saying 'you need to be over here' referring to the 'rich' looking party. as a result of this i won't be going there and i will be sure and pass this story on to others who might be considering going.

Won't be staying here

Good luck trying to book a reservation months in advance. Apparently there are regular 'guests' that live there full time. Fiance and I tried to book all 5 rooms for 2 nights for nine months from now and were told that was going to be pretty much impossible. When asked if she could check to see if the rooms were available she told us no, she didn't have time to look. She seemed very confused as to why we were there even though she made the appointment for us to come and look the grounds and house over. Never got to see any rooms. You would think that she would be a little more organized running a business and know what her appointment was set up for when we were ready to lay out over $1300 for accomodations. Needless to say , even though the grounds were beautiful, I would not feel comfortable giving this woman my credit card and relying on her to have that weekend actually reserved for us. We will be taking our business elsewhere. This seems to be more of a boarding house than a bed and breakfast.

The Graham-Carroll house is so beautiful!! Fresh flowers, antique chandaliers, lovely furnishings. It is elegant but intimate, cozy, charming and rich in every detail. My husband and I were amazed at the quality of every aspect of our stay there. Frannie is the ultimate hostess, a fabulous chef and a delight to meet. She is friendly and funny and warm. Nelson is a great conversationalist, he makes you feel like you've known him for years. The experience of staying at the Graham-Carroll house is really fabulous, because you are staying in their home; it feels so comfortable even though it is so extraordinary!!!
