VERY FRIENDLY PLACE
By lilbit, 3/22/12
The campground was very laid back, quiet and friendly..... I cant wait to go back..... I highly reccomend it. Its affordable and close to all the main attractions but back off the main road enough to "escape" from the craziness... Its not a luxurious campground but its a campground.... a down to earth campground.. what they do have is clean.. and you couldnt ask for friendlier people...

They have bedbugs now!!!
By Charles, 10/14/11
My girlfriend and I stayed at the cabins and they were real nice. Untill we started getting a rash all over us. We went to the hospital and they said we had been getting attacked by bedbugs. We went back to the cabin and checked and sure enough behing the baseboards was a large infestation of bedbugs. We told management and they gave us the whole"what do you want us to do". I have read many reviews on here and I assure you that they are not the same management team everyone speaks of so highly. The new management go by Mark and Karen. They made it seem like that was our problem and they could careless. Stay here if you want but as of october 2011 they have a bad bedbug problem in there cabins. I stayed in number #8. Good luck

Love this Place
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 6/3/10
we loved everything about Alpine Hideaway, when we first arrived we were welcome, every day Lester and debora came around checked on us asked us if there was any thing they could do for us. gave us great information on things to do and see. even gave us free fire wood. and picked our trash up everynight. and the campground was so neat and clean. but most off all we enjoyed the pool it's large and nice and debora and lester your the greatest thanks for a wonderful vacation see you again soon.

By A Yahoo! Contributor, 5/11/10
i found alpine to be a wonderful experince, the mangers Debora and Lester were more than helpful, and friendly. they went out of there way to make sure we were safe and happy, i found them working side by side and making the campgrounds better. can't wait to go back and see them again.

Will Never Go Back
By Mary, 3/19/10
Debra was rude and argued with her husband in front of me, her rules only apply to who she chooses, the bath houses were not clean and cold, the pool was not fixed and needs major repairs, they cut off water for a week and a half prior to me moving out during the daytime due to leaks. it all needs new mangement and much repairs. i moved in on dec 30 2009 and out the end of Febuary and after two weeks I started staying in my camper during the daytime so I didn't have to deal with Debra. Her dog was allowed to run loose and so was her friends and she told the dogs had to be on a leash if there. Don't understand how she can be this way and expect people to give good reviews. and when I complained about a neighbor nothing was done I contiuned to be woke up at 1 am in the morning by a neighbor who loved to slam his car door. I will say some of the guest were nice and the area is a great place to be but love my cabin on the mountain that I live in now. I hope this campground get the ajustment it needs to be as great as some of your earily post when Brian was there, did not have the pleasure of staying there when he was there but as show up here , maybe he needs to be back.

Wvafamily can't wait to go back.
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/22/09
This was our first trip to the camp ground. We really enjoyed the piecfullnes, and the friendly managers. It was nice they had a loundrymat on the grounds. We really appriciate the managers helping us get things working, and for them making sure everything was ok. We also liked how they would drive through the camp making sure everyond was safe. We also liked how the camp ground was in between two mountains, and the streem running behind us. The sound of the streem was pieceful. We also liked how they made sure we was next to the shower house due to we had two handycap elderly with us. We was disappointed the pool was not up and running. Hopfuly it will be up and running next year. We really enjoyed the managers , and hope to go back and see them and enjoy the camp ground again next year.

The service I received!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 8/27/09
This was my first trip up with some friends of mine that keep their RV there year around. The screnery is beaytiful. Its not over crowded and their is not a whole lot of noise. The only problem I had was that the pool was not open or was in great need of repair. I will be returning this weeked, so that my family can enjoy Splash Country before it closes.Hope the service I received the last time from the staff is as friendly and safe.I'm sure it will be, since the monitored the park to the early morning hours.I felt really safe here.

Great Stay!!!
By bets, 5/15/08
Myself and a few guy friend came here on a recomendation after our resort reservations we canceled. The staff was super friendly and helpful. We traveled in the middle of May so it wasn't super busy, so the owners gave us a key to the pool, which was great for a bunch of twenty somethings. They also had free wi-fi in the courtyard at the pool! All together it was a great stay. We had a lot if fun. Its far enough off the road it feels woodsey, but close enough that you could almost walk to destinations.

Thank you for making a safe move for my daughter
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/14/07
We started staying at Alpine about 19 years ago. We were so sad when there wasn't an Alpine for several years, and now here you are, you have done a great job getting Alpine up and running again. It feels like home away from home. We have enjoyed this past year camping there about every month since April. You welcomed us and our 4 legged family members as well. Then when we needed a place for our only daughter to stay for awhile when she started a new job up there, you let her stay in one of your cabins. She was safe and loved every minute of staying in her own Log cabin. Brian was there if needed and became a great friend to our family. Both of you are wonderful and this is the best campground ever. Everybody I talk to I tell them they have to stay at Alpine. We are long time campers at Alpine and will keep coming. Thank you again a MILLION times and for watching out for our daughter. Jay & Rena Apley and Holly
