THIS IS A GREAT PLACE
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/24/11
The owners of this Bed and Breakfast are great! They went over and beyond to make me and my husbands weekend get away great. They are so close to zoo, food, and shopping. VERY clean and cozy. Views forever and the sunrise was awesome. We will be going back very soon. Owner did special things like put on the fireplace for us so when we got home it was dark and cozy. Cant say enough about it great place great people a place for families or couples. If going as a couple I would get the East room it has a great whirlpool

Bed only - no breakfast
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 8/9/11
Found out on arrival, "Oh, we no longer do breakfasts." Not even morning coffee. I did not have any negative interaction with the operators; I had almost no interaction at all. TV remote didn't work. The room with the "Jacuzzi" had no shower; ever try washing your hair in a 5-foot long tub? The other room's shower was on a step-up platform with no hand rails. Potentially dangerous. They are trying to set up a demo farm, but the animals (goats, sheep, 1 llama and 3 alpacas) did not seem all that well cared for to me. The furnishings were attractive and clean, and the immediate yard was attractive. It is close to the zoo, and to the highway (which you'll need since there are about two restaurants in Asheboro, and both are closed on Sundays and Mondays )

Farm stay
By mcwhite, 3/12/11
I went to this B& B we arrived at night and it was hard to find. The beds were stale smelling and moldy. There were a lot of dead bugs as well. The water never got hot and when we got up the next morning we realized that we were staying on a farm. The info described that it was on rolling hills and it was a open area with walking trails. i did not see any trails and it was full of broken down farm equipment. The cabin was alright for the amount paid. i sent in a check deposit and they gave it back to me and requested cash instead. I thought that was odd. I would recommended this place if you like farms or a sterile dull place to stay.

JUST O.K.
By christy, 5/23/07
What we liked was that we where not in a hotel and it was very quiet. Our family stayed in one of the cabins. The cabin was kept neat but looked as if it could stand a good spring cleaning. The sheets smelled as if they had been left in the washer to somewhat sour. What we didn't like is that you could never get anyone on the phone and you always got an answering service. It could take hours to receive a phone call back. The cabin needs more amenities for its guest. Ie. little things like a basket of "just in case you forgots" hair spray, blow dryer, dollar store tooth brushes, tooth paste, combs, etc. The owners are not the warmest people I ever met. They where not rude but not extremely friendly. I think when people set out to run a bed and breakfast or any type of lodging they need to have good people skills with warm personalities.

Wonderful Experience!
By MelissaC, 7/11/06
This place was absolutely beautiful! The pictures on the website do not do it justice. The owners were very friendly, and the cabin was very clean. It was a perfect trip! We couldn't have asked for anything better! We will definitely visit again...
