Hidden Creek Cabins, Bryson City

Great location close to town, but still isolated, quite, warm & wonderful

The cabin was very nice and clean when we arrived. The road was a little rough to the cabin but once we made it up there it was great. The rooms were large enough for our family of 4 and we enjoyed the pool table and fire pit. It was amazing how close the stars looked sitting in the fenced in back yard roasting marshmallows and making smores! We would definitely come here again. Bryson City was a great town to visit and we loved all the Fall decorations.

My family and I recently visited the Kountry Kabin. We had an amazing time. Our children loved the Kabin and it was plenty of room for our family of 6. We had a GREAT view from the kabin and the roads to the kabin were in great shape. The kabin was in excellent condition and was VERY clean. The kabin manager was very nice. One night we did not have water, but it was only out for a short time and they were very considerate to us. The staff left our children games and coloring book to play with while in the cabin and there was fire wood in the fire place. We LOVED our trip and can't wait to go back.

We just returned from the Ridgetop Retreat cabin. It wasn't a cabin at all but rather a dirty modular home in desperate need of a deep cleaning. I won't get into it all but the two biggest issues were the mattress and box springs and then the back porch. The mattress/box springs were disgusting - I guess something had been spilled all over them and there had obviously been no attempt to clean the nasty stains - it was probably 3 feet wide. There was no way they weren't aware of this because all you had to do was pull down the comforter and the stain was exposed. We had to add two more layers of sheets just to convince ourselves to sleep in that filth. The back porch was also filthy - the table and chairs were black in some areas with nastiness. There was no relaxing in this "cabin" and that was a huge disappointment. The only thing this "cabin" has going for it is the view but you can't enjoy it on that disgusting back porch. We tried to contact Hidden Creek but they didn't bother to respond. That says it all for me. We won't be going back and definitely wouldn't recommend. There were several other cabin companies available - if we ever visit Bryson City again we will go with a more competent company.

We enjoyed a wonderful week at the Alarka 1 cabin. Upon arrival the lights were on and I wasnt sure we had the right cabin! lol! We found the cabin spotless. The creek sounds were awesome. We enjoyed the open field for cookouts and playing games and nightly campfires! Our dogs had a wonderful time being able to come with us. my only complaint was one of the outdoor garbage cans didnt have a lid, so we were nervous to use it, but hey we turned it into a recycling bin! the pictures on the website were very truthful. I cannot wait to return next year! Thanks for the memories!

Just about everything. A place that takes you back to a more simple time I remember as a child. My memories of my grandmother baking bisquits and chocolate cake. The creek down in the pasture. The quiet evenings on the front porch. Yes I and my family are definetly making this lovely place our yearly vacation destination. It's like going home. The only thing that concerned my family was the poison ivey growing on the side of the house. The screen needs repairing on the back door. But this also gives character that is reminesant of an old country farmhouse. History is very important to me and also the memories I had visiting every day at my grandparents. The creaking of the hardwood floor, the cozy kitchen and the large bedrooms. Also the covered porch with the benches and rocking chairs. Also on the sign attached to a tree , the house was established in 1922. The year my daddy was born. We can.t wait to return!

We gave one of the creek cabins a try, and were very happy. Even hitting peak/holiday rates, we found this to be a great deal. The "cabin" is really a small nicely furnished and very clean house. Loved the location. We are definitely going back, can't wait for the fall.

Cute, Comfortable, Clean. Easy drive to Cherokee and Bryson City. Right next door to Smoky Mountain Country Club with BEAUTIFUL and challenging mountain golf course. Cabin is really close to the road, but since there's no traffic, it didn't matter.

We stayed in the cottage and it was very relaxing. The creek that ran beside the cabin was very nice. Unfortunately the cleanliness of the cabin will stop me from using this company again. The dishes were not clean. Everything had a film on it and was not cleaned very well. Also, the sheets were not clean. Our cabin was told to be private, upon arriving though we realized that our cabin was right on top of another one. All the other cabins were private so that was disappointing. We still had a nice time, and it was beautiful; but I did not feel comfortable in the cabin. Bryson City is a great place to get away from it all and relax though.

We really liked the cabin and the location of the property. It is a really nice place to go to getaway from everyday routine. The cabin was neat and orderly. We will definitely be going back again.
