There was no lake just a small pond only visible from one cabin that was located on a busy, noisy highway. The couch and mattress need replaced badly. There was just one very small TV. Helen was wonderful! The cabin was just ok.

My husband and I loved everything about Lazy Bones. VERY clean. Hot tub and jacuzzi were great. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed, all we had to bring was food. The owners were friendly, and very helpful. They have DVDs which are free to customers, that made our nights pleasant. Though we were in walking distance to a couple other cabins, we felt very secluded and private. It was woodsy and rustic but had the amenities which made us feel taken care of. It was also pretty close to Helen, only about ten minutes away. The owners were also helpful with information about where to go and what to do in town. Overall, we can't think of even one negative thing to say about Lazy Bones. My husband is on the phone right now making reservations for our 1st anniversary, and neither of us can wait to go back!

Visited Helen for the first time during Memorial Day weekend and Lazy Bones cabins were a great choice of stay. We made reservations a couple of days prior and the asking rent was $150 + tax for a one-bedroom cabin. A little steep, but considering the time-frame and the availability of one-night stay (unlike most other places which required a minimum two-night stay during holiday-weekends) it was well worth it. The cabin was not too far from Helen downtown (about 10 to 15 mins drive, depending on traffic on the two-lane road) and not too close which adds a little anticipation to the short scenic drive. The cabins were very clean and well-maintaned. Our bones got really really lazy relaxing in the outdoor hot-tub and indoor jacuzzi. We were informed that DVD players were recently added to the cabins and the office had a good collection of movies (free for customers). The cabins were very cozy nestled in the woods. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Bottom line.........Lazy Bones cabins are highly recommended.

You'll love the clean cabins and the hot tub. They are the nicest and cleanest cabins in Helen and highly recommend them for your next visit to Helen or Cleveland area.
