Happy Valley Cabins, Clarkesville

Stayed in Cabin #5, very dirty. Found spider webs, dead scorpions, and other bugs.

My mother booked this placed several months back so our entire family could enjoy. We even went to the extreme to make a weekend trip to stay one night so we would know what to expect (we do have 13 people going). The place was clean and the cabins were nice however now that our trip is in 3 weeks they called and cancelled our plans, they have a "bigger" group coming in staying for a longer period of time... so now we are left trying to find another place, which we did.

My husband took me to the cabins in May of 2008 and we loved it! Felt like a home away from home. The couple that runs it are wonderful and down to earth! We are planning to go back this year!!!!!!!!!!

if you want to get away and enjoy some peace, this is the place. the rustic cabins are clean and neat. the owners are great people. you acn go out and explore or just kick back and relax in the hot tub out on the back porch. very romantic setting. can't wait to break away and go back....

LOVED EVERY MINUTE OF IT My husband and I have been twice and with our children once. Great place to get away. Wonderful host and service. It is a little piece of heaven on earth. If you like rustic, country, quiet this is the place to go. Drive to the Falls on Friday nite and enjoy a grilled hot dog and some picking and grinnin at the post office/police dept/mayor office/ general store. One stop will create memories that will last a life time. 5 star.

I checked this site, out of curiousity to see if they were still in business. We were there many years ago, and we had a wonderful time. A thunderstorm hit one night while we were there. The manager brought everyone candles during the storm since all of the lights were out.We were furnished candles, wine and rain on a tin roof.How's that for ROMANCE? Plus, there were hot tubs on the porches.Very nice memories.--L.M.,Dickson,Tn.
