Motel 9 Oceanside, Oceanside

I needed a place to stay in with short notice. The rooms weren't very clean at all. Carpets were very dirty and smelt moldy. I also found used cigarette buds on the carpet. I accidentally dropped my ID in the sofa cushions and when I went retrieve them, there were more cigarettes there. The beds weren't comfortable. It is very noisy and the people around the area are as well. I booked a single bed but when I checked in, the guy at the front desk told me there were none so he was going to give me a room with two beds. That was fine, however throughout the check-in process he stressed that it was a more expensive room, and that I was only paying for the one bedroom, as if I was lucky to have the room with two beds and that I should be paying more.. But hello! I only need one bed, you really aren't doing me any favors here. I felt very uncomfortable being there and wish I would have stayed somewhere else. Don't stay here unless it is your LAST OPTION!!
