Campland On the Bay, San Diego

The staff were rude...the tent area was filled with partiers that were loud and obnoxious all night long. We left after one night. This place has a great location, but not a place for a family with children. We would never return.

This is in the perfect location! There is a beach connected to it with a floating jump raft in the middle of the bay. There are HUNDREDS of places to stay there. There Is Also 2 Pools and 2 Spas that are fairly large. The bathrooms are super clean compared to most public places. There is a HUGE arcade room with reloadable power cards. Theres a market and a laundrymat. There is also two parks, one of which has play toys and a fun biking course (made by visiters). This is the best campsite in san diego. And im not just saying that because it was voted as it for two years in a row.

but great location, probably wouldn't return because of complications with management and staff. Bad attitudes for a place that should cater to their customers. Not recommended.

From the moment we arrived at the campground the staff in the main office seemed unpleasent and unhelpful towards the other campers. The scheduled events were not always on time which caused some campers to be very loud and obnoxious. While sitting at my all dirt campground and the filthy table they provide you with I witnessed many people driving golf carts while drinking alcohol, children fighting and screaming at all hours of the night, and a shouting of chug it chug it in the background. I was under the impression that this was a family facility so i was sure that the camp rangers would do something about all of this but they were no where to be found. Overall this place is highly overrated and in mager need of new management!
