Had a perfect weekend!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/02/09
My husband and I decided to take a little weekend trip down to Savannah to celebrate his safe return from Iraq. We are VERY glad we picked the Azalea Inn!! Teresa and her staff were very gracious and accomodating - we truly felt at home!! We very much enjoyed Teresa's stories at breakfast, as well as her cooking! We will definitely be back!!

Great place-- highly recommend

The atmosphere of Azalea is great and the service was wonderful. Don't stay in the Gentleman's Quarters if you want to sleep in ;) but definitely a great choice for a Savannah B&B

Quaint bed and breakfast
By Christine, 08/13/09
Loved the breakfasts, afternoon wine and cheese, innkeeper Teresa, and Joey the dog. Nice rooms, gardens and pool. A little out of the way, but a quick, lovely walk to the downtown area.

Can't wait to return
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/03/09
Lovely inn. Animated, personable innkeeper (Teresa). You'll love the inn mascot (small dog), "Joey." While the inn is not close to Bay and River Streets, it's easy enough to get to/from by a brief car ride. I didn't find it's distance from historic "downtown" to be a minus. Loved the afternoon dip in the lovely, small pool. I looked at all the rooms -- I'd be very happy in most of them. Especially loved being able to sit out on my porch in the morning -- and "people watch." Can't wait to return.

Good people and cosy place
By Veronica, 06/29/09
It’s hard to run into genuinely good people these day but we feel as though we had our chance last weekend. Teresa and her staff were simply delightful and Jeffrey prepared some yummy breakfast. Jeffrey recommended Pink House and Vinnie Van Go-Go's for dinner and he was right on... Pink House is must and Vinnie Van Go-Go’s has the BEST pizza ever.

Loved it!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/28/09
The ambiance at the Azalea Inn was perfect to enjoy the history and charm of Savannah. The staff was friendy, courteous and helpful. What more can you ask? The rooms were immaculate, comfortable and were furnished in a way to make you "feel" Savannah, not just be there.

This place was a disaster
By Tammy, 06/18/09
The $300 room I was told was ideal for honeymoons was next to the front desk and kitchen with a hardwood floor and large gap beneath the door. We could hear every whisper--and of course knew they could hear us! We didn't want to leave our room but were not offered breakfast in bed. We finally emerged, sheepishly, 45 minutes past the indicated time but were told the food was gone. We were offered a fruit cup and a cold pot of coffee. We stayed in our room until 4 and when we got back that night the place had not been touched and we were not warned that we would be missing our service. We asked for a little extra time to check out but were told "no." The "gardens" consisted of a very small courtyard; thank God I at least knew better than to be talked into having our ceremony there. And the icing on the wedding cake: this place is a half-a-block away from a huge halfway house. Hey, I got snookered; I can take it like a man. These people are marketing geniuses and I have to respect that. But in walking around this stunning, delightful city it was difficult maintaining a stiff upper lip in the face of so many better places to stay.

Wonderful
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/27/09
The Azalea Inn is very relaxing, omfortable and spotless. The room we had was very warm and inviting. It came with a wonderful sitting porch and a very comfortable bed. The breakfast is delectible and presented beautifully. Breakfast is a great time of meeting new people and having wonderful conversation. Joe, the 4.2lb Yorke, is the cutest and most loveable little mascot. The Innkeeper, Teresa, and her staff are very attentive, friendly, and courteous. My husband and I highly recommend the Azaela Inn!
