Hoffman Haus, Fredericksburg

The facilities are wonderful - very rustic, with tons of personality, a large variety of rooms, and a wonderful outdoor garden area. It was the site of a recent wedding reception and while it provides an excellent location for such an occasion, dealing with the manager made it less than ideal. Management was rigid, inflexible and difficult - to the point that they would not loan a guest their tape dispenser for 10 minutes, lest someone check out while it was gone (which would not have happened since the entire accommodation was in use by the wedding party and there was a brunch for them in progress at the time). It is pricey, and for the money paid, it should have been a much better experience.
